Same as above. Do you really think Nintendo needed to put all those characters in Mario Baseball?
Oh, by the way, I'm not voting. Personally, I don't think pollmakers should be allowed to vote in their polls.

The more characters they add, the better the chance is that they'll add a good character, like Dixie Kong (who is in Mario Superstar Baseball). Who knows? Maybe one day they'll go so character crazy that they'll give us Wart or Goombella.

King K. Rool would have been an excellent character for this game, and Stanley the Bugman would've been nice. Seeing Tatanga in 3-D would also be a treat.

Hey, have any of you purchased or rented Mario Superstar Baseball yet? If so, how is it? I plan on buying it soon.

I've got it. It's a really good game even though Challenge Mode is tedious and the fielding controls and baserunning AI suck. Of course, the humour (DK's punching glove, strikeout animations) adds to the gameplay.

I heard somewhere that unlockables disappear when the player does certain things; is this true?

I think this is what the rumor meant: When you begin a new file in Challenge Mode, you have to start from absolute scratch. When you begin a new game in the same file, you can keep going.

The more characters the better. Look at characters like Dry Bones because of these spinoffs. They're huge!

They don't really have enough characters, it might seem like a lot, but you can't have a baceball tournument with the meager selection.

Think of it this way each team needs at least nine people, so in order to have two opposing teams, you need at least 18 characters. And in order to put a bit a variation in the game, you should have even more than that.

Good point. I've never played Mario Baseball nor do I really even care about baseball at all, so now I realize that there needs to be tons of characters for it. I'd say the Wii sequel should have about 45 characters then. or at least 27.
How many characters were there?
