Does anyone here remember my Super Mario Galaxy 3 idea from a long time ago? Then you'll know that I came up with a character for it named Helio.

Basically, he was Mario/Luigi's helper in SMG3 and, as found out in the ending, Rosalina's love interest. There was also a story I wrote of how the two of them met. Read it here: boodestroyer89.deviantart.com/art/The-Story-of-Helio-and-Rosalina-300877810
There are a few reasons I came up with this character. The Mario series needs more prince characters (main Mario, at least), and Rosalina should have someone of her own. Someone more for her.
After what she's been through (the only main Mario character to actually have a story behind her), she really could use someone to keep her company and love her dearly. Main Mario could also have a solid love story of its own, one that actually means something.
Now, because we've been recently getting so much out of Rosalina, I've decided that I should try doing more with Helio as well, and have now grown more attached to him than before:
Playable in Super Mario 3D World
Basically, he'd have the lowest jump, runs fast like Toad (takes a while to go into a sprint), and he has a sword attack.
Just press the dash/attack button to swing his sword to attack any enemies in front of him. It's like Rosalina's spin, but it has a further reach and doesn't have the 360 degree coverage. After Helio swings his sword, he'll have a brief delay before he gets to do it again, swiftly sheathing his sword.
Of course, he can't use his sword when he has another power-up.
Also, his color is generally a darker blue than Toad's. His cat suit is gray, his boomerang suit is red, his propeller box is black...
Rosalina & Helio 3D World (SM3DW DLC like NSLU)
They both have their own adventure together!
Like NSLU, the world maps remain the same, but every level in the game has been redone completely and much harder, to accommodate both their extra abilities (spin and sword). Power-ups are rare this time to emphasize said abilities.
No Mario and the others here. Just the two of them. (So this game is up to 2 players only)
Playable in SSB Wii U/3DS
Yeah, well, just go with it.
Like Rosalina, he'd have a Luma to help him out too. (He'd have to be a hidden character first) Most of his moves are a lot like hers, but he's not a clone of her, since he's got his sword here.
