Yes, I do realise that this is a forum about Mario stuffs. But I also realise that this is the board of General Discussion so this topic is completely valid. Anyways, now that I have created this topic that has not existed on this forum for FAR too long. Have you guys heard of it? No? Well then search Wikipedia. What you think I'm some sort of dictionary?...fine
Minecraft is a survial-sandbox game for PC where you mine for stuff... and then craft things. Mostly renewned for its amazing multiplayer which allows communities to be built and huge scupltures of whatevertheheckyouwant. So... I'm certain at least one person here plays it so... discuss.

Let's wait and see how long it takes for you to notice the title.Minecon is starting in two days!  ...I mean, sure, I don't have tickets and I live all the way over in New England, but still. With Minecon comes the full release of the game! |

Yes... I noticed the title as soon as I posted. Also I'm wondering why they are going along with the full release of the game when they haven't even released 1.9 yet. As an actual update I mean, pre-releases are kind of pointless I mean they are the betas of a beta and just cause texture pack confusion. But yeah, looking forward to the full game, I wonder if they will continue adding patches and other stuffs to it after the full release?

Obviously, people are going to want more and more in vanilla, so there should be a couple more patches coming out soon after the full release.
In other news, I just got myself Minecraft Pocket Edition for the iOS.
I'll be brutally honest with you, it's not as great as the PC version. But it's still in Alpha right now, considering it came out today, so that's to be expected. I'm not really used to the controls either, but I'm starting to get the hang of it.
Really, I feel there's a bit more freedom in building things with the Pocket Edition, considering you can point anywhere with your finger. The PC version is confined to where the cursor is, which is in the dead center of the screen. So that's a perk right there.
All in all, I think it has some potential to be every bit as awesome as the PC version. Now ex-squeeze me whilst I build that balcony I've been wanting on the second floor of my house. Toodles.

Cool. I actually haven't playing Minecraft much as of late due to the BitF server being down and single player mode has gotten a bit boring.
