Meant to be a good thing? I know in theory infinite money is a good thing for an individual, but wouldn't this just annihiliate the Mushroom World economy?
Think of it this way... there's a reason money has value, and that's because it's hard to get, and in the case of gold and the like, rare. The amount of inflation would be literally infinite, the value of the Mushroom World's different currencies would be millions of times less than even that of Zimbabwe (and that had stuff like ten billion dollars for a loaf of bread). In theory, wouldn't it just make everything worthless?
I know, it's more complex than that, but officially, that treasure Captain Syrup ended up getting wouldn't be particularly good for her nor the entire setting. I guess it's lucky Wario didn't get it to be honest, because:
1. It'd make everything he ever collected before meaningless.
2. Diamond City's economy would be dead in the water in hours. Then add that to the Mushroom Kingdom exchange rate of 99,999,999,999,999 coins to 99 Beanbean Kingdom coins, and you'd be in real trouble.
Thoughts?

Well, I guess it would be useless if you actually used it, but Wario doesn't care about using money, he just likes to have it. Also, the Coins would probably be rejected in the Mushroom World's nations anyway because it isn't an official currency outside the Shake Dimmension. The best he could do is sell it to some gold junky, or just throw it in his castle like everything else he owns.

Wario doesn't use money. He just collects it and bathe in it (what is he, anyway ? The Mario version of Scrooge McDuck ?).
And Captain Syrup now has the bag, right ? She's a pirate, so I assume she just keeps it as a trophy and uses it when she really needs it.
