90% of them would have only gone to the Mario equivalent to hell anyway, so being trapped in a portrait is probably better than the alternative.

What about the baby (who's name escapes me at the moment)? It's ghost may have been evil, but surely it hadn't lived a long enough life even know what sin was, let alone commit it.

Wait, so it's NOT a deceased baby? I need to replay Luigi's Mansion. Since it was born a Ghost, does that make it Ghost (Species), or Ghost (Dead Person)? Also, what if a Boo died and became a Ghost?

I believe we've already disussed the Chauncy issue in another thread. (and yes, his name is Chauncy. I knew that off the top of my head for no reason and is not related whatsoever to ChuggaaConroy's LP of Luigi's Mansion in any way.)
