I just picture Retro Sonic as being the younger version of Sonic, so you can tell how I was confused.

Well, before they showed this trailer I thought the Sonic in the classic games was a younger Sonic too. Actually, now that I think about it, considering that we know absolutely nothing about this game, there is no saying whether or not they will go in the PiT direction. It is much more likely that they will go in the Turtles Forever direction though.

*debump* Well obviously, since there's absolutely no footage of them giving each other piggyback rides, I think it's safe to say that they're making it into Sonic Forever.  Seriously, though. Who's to say that there isn't going to be a bit of time travel involved? I mean, if Original Sonic is, indeed, the younger incarnation of Sonic, then wouldn't that mean that either he would need to come to the future, or that the present Sonic would end up travelling to the past? And I totally didn't remember that this thread exists just because Turtles Forever is playing on the Nicktoons Networkright now. Nope. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a cake-stealing liar. |

Yeah, I think I remember reading something in Nintendo Power that said that Modern Sonic travels to the past.
