Does that mean Luigi will go out with Prince Peasley instead?

It's basically official Daisy loves Luigi (she calls him "sweety" in Mario Tennis GC, she made two statues of them dancing in front of her castle...), but it seems unlikely Luigi loves her or even knows she has feelings for him. He doesn't act different with her, and he falled in love with Princess Eclair long after his first meeting with Daisy (also, Prince Peasley, anyone ?). I guess it's more interesting than the basical MarioXPeach relationship.

In the Mario Party 4 manual it totally says Waluigi is jealous of LuigixDaisy and with the above post, it makes sense that....uhh... IDK, after the Daisy Circuit in MKWii.... but go WaluigixDaisy!!!!

Okay, here's the last topic that I can think of, unless someone else wants to chip in as well.
Peach & Daisy.
Family or no?

WHAT. No. That. Doesn't. Make. The. Least. Bit. Of. Sense.

No, I doubt they're related. Sarasaland seems pretty far away from the Mushroom Kingdom, not to mention the fact that Daisy didn't even look like her much at one point.
That didn't make sense, did it?

I remember them being called cousins at one point...

I can't recall. May have been a biased edit on SMWiki for all I remember, but it may have been that MP4 manual too lol

Isn't the Prima one the "Official" one too? The one that came with the Nintendo Power subscription in 2008?

Prima is "official" because Nintendo paid them. Just as Nintendo Power is the "official" Nintendo magazie even though they are nothing more than journalists.

Biased journalists, at that...

Nintendo Power WAS the official magazine until December 2007, though, and about half of their staff worked at both NP and NoA. so maybe the Prima Guides for MKWii and Brawl and stuff were written by NoA guys but PUBLISHED by Prima. IDK though.

If Mario-related Prima guides were written by people from Nintendo, NoA is now an epic fail.
I mean, man, some of these are so bad, it's hard to believe it's official.
Oh, wait. The Mario websites are also official, and most of them have very weird "facts" too.
On the contrary, the official Mario websites and guides in Japan are wrote by the people who made these games, and are perfect information-wise.

I have no idea. I don't even know where my guides are right now so I can't look it up.

Changing the subject, if my (100% fan-made) theory that humans are a dwindling race in the Mushroomsphere is correct, it's very likely that Daisy and Peach are indeed close cousins. IRL European and ancient Near Eastern royalty preferred to marry other royals, so the royalty of the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland have most likely married each other every few generations. NoA might have been thinking of that history - with the general scarcity of humans, it would be more of a surprise if Peach and Daisy weren't related.

No I don't think that's the case at all I think that Nintendo just has human main characters to relate with human players
