In Jungle Beat, the four "new" Kongs attack DK Island and try to take over it. DK goes through each part of the island (which was given to a "king" monster) and eventually kick their butts, only to learn that there's a true villain behind this (and kick that villain's butt too). The Golden Temple level is in another dimension. I dunno, the environments in Jungle Beat don't really look like DK Island...

Maybe Tiki Tong was created by King K. Rool to destroy the Kongs, but he escaped from his lab when he animated him. As for the instrument tikis, maybe he poured banana juice on some instruments to turn them into tikis.And maybe he animated more instruments then he had, like a trumpet, a kazoo, a tuba, a cuica, an ocarina, a Jew's harp, a guiro, and a Theremin, among other instruments.
