I got the idea after Koopalimer posted his page. I know at least a few of you have deviantart pages.
I was thinking we could post maps technical data we've collected as well as favorite stuff that other people have made in that category.
So what do you think?

Made me realize one thing.
We should have a better logo than Para Beetles in the sky. Sure, it's nice and is there since a while, but it doesn't really represent what this forum is about. A physician Mario could be better, maybe as a mascot of some sort. Not that we must change the banner or anything, just saying.
But everything I say must be ignored, so it's like if I said nothing. That's a terrible idea, anyway.
So, I joined. I may post my map of the Mushroom Planet, and my map of the Mushroom Kingdom and surrounding lands.

I'm not sure if I should add you guys as official submitters or just send a request to ask if a particular piece should be submitted. And about the mascot thing, I'm open to any suggestions. I thought about the whole Dr. Mario thing, but he's more of a physician than a researcher. My best idea is one of those characters in the Paper Mario series who new a lot about stuff. Like Professor Frankly. EDIT: Koopalimer, I couldn't find the map of the Mushroom kingdom one, just the planet. |

I'm trying to figure this out as I go....I think it's possible to do that though.
Ok, I figured it out. What I'm going to do is all art submitted by MEMBERS will go in the gallery. Any random art I find by non-members will go in favorites.

Although I doubt everyone's okay with changing the logo.
So, I plan to do a sprite version of my map - as in, I'll make it with SMB3 map tilesets. However, last time I did that, it took me a whole night and I got lazy near the end and ended up using Paint's paintbrush, so I'm not going to do it right now. Nor next week because I have a very major test.

Anyone who is willing to contribute stuff regularly (more than once) can ask to be promoted to contributor. Otherwise, you can just be regular members.
If we get a bunch more members, I might make one of you an admin, but that's not necessary at the moment.
Also, I'm liking the Goombella idea.....maybe that picture of her with the book?

I'm having more trouble than I though finding any good pictures for the favorites section. Anyone have any recommendations that they might have seen throughout their travels?
