Or perhaps we could send it to Retro? Don't do that! Unsolicited ideas cannot be accepted by companies for the most part, and even though companies usually don't read them at all, if they do, that means the idea can't be made because you could possibly sue them if you don't get paid! I think that's how it works. Anyway those boss designs are epic, but what about new enemies that haven't been in a Yoshi game yet? Like what about stuff like a ginat Kuribo's Shoe?

Finally, here are the bosses for this: (Bad scanner...) Bramble Piranha here has a Hydra-like approach in that all three heads would go after Yoshi. Fire eggs will take them down. Shy Giga is a larger Shy Guy who'd jump and slam around on Yoshi to attack. He even summons other regular enemies to go after him, using a slot machine. Crusher's (Hmmm, could do better...) battle consists of him chasing Yoshi underwater. To defeat him, Yoshi would lure and lead him into traps along the way for damage. Magmorty's hands are made of stone. Yoshi ground pounds them to damage him. Once both hands are destroyed, use Ice Eggs on his head to finish the job. Quoted for new page.

Okay, I really like Magmorty's design here.

Uuuhhh.....they all kind of suck honestly. "Bramble Piranha" is just Naval Piranha with three heads, "Shy Giga" is just an oversized Shy Guy in a top hat, and "Crusher" looks exactly like the shark enemies from DKCR. Besides, these are all boss archetypes that have been done before, even within Yoshi's Island.

Magmorty is really original though. Man I love that design btw

Bramble Piranha could stand to be changed to something else; this has been done twice before as it is. I guess a serpent-like Piranha Plant, still with three heads.
Furthermore, boss archetypes get used over and over a lot in most games afterward. Were you expecting Wham Bam Wood to be the final boss of DKCR? Neither was I.

Well, at least Nintendo isn't guilty of reusing the same bosses over and over aga-ohwait...

You know why Nintendo is reusing bosses? Because they actually have to program them. Once the behavior algorithms are down, it cuts a lot off development time to reuse them.
When someone like us has ideas for a game that are just that - ideas - without having to implement them in any way, being unoriginal has no excuse.

Well using the same patterns and programing as a boss from a game from generations ago, or even much less powerful system like from New SMB to New SMB Wii, is kind of lazy. Actually very. Plus a game like SMG2 doesn't reuse ANY bosses fromt he previous game, aside from Dino Piranha's ripoff. (As far as I've gotten in the game, at least. The beginning of the last World)

I like the concept of the Blargg boss, but the other three seem too unoriginal. As for Galaxy 2... I take it you haven't heard of the Boss Blitz Galaxy or whatever?
Could try harder for the bosses.

Don't forget Bugaboom, who's not even in the bonus world, and Whomp King, who is remastered from SM64. Honestly, claiming SMG2 doesn't reuse bosses is ridiculous.

Oh I do remember the bug guy too. But Whomp King? What's he from? IDR him.
btw World S shouldn't count considering it's a bonus world!

But Whomp King? What's he from? IDR him. I hope you mean you don't remember seeing him in SMG2, because if you don't know who he IS, then... your Mario knowledge is severely lacking. He's the second boss from Super Mario 64, and he reappears in SMG2 in the sixth world.

I think SM64 is one of the "bare minimum" games you have to have played to even qualify for being a Mario fan. Claiming you are one without playing it is like claiming to be a Star Wars fan without having seen the original trilogy. Same goes for SMB1, SMB3 and SMW. Those games defined Mario and there is no excuse not to play them. Also they're all available on the Virtual Console.

Hmm, another thing for this game could be missions for each level, similar to Wario Land Shake It (to keep the Good-Feel going), depending on each level too.
Just to name a few:
"KO 3 Shy Guys/Draggolings/(other simple enemy) with one egg" "Beat the stage without taking damage" "KO 5 or more Lava Draggolings with eggs" (enemy in lava that spits out lava at Yoshi like one enemy in the original YI) "Freeze exactly 3 Piranha Plants with Ice Eggs" "Beat the stage without riding Trump" (the triceratops dino buddy) "Don't use any Huffin Puffins"
Bosses (after their battles the first time) would have their standard target time and no damage missions, plus one that's exclusive to each.

I meant in SMG2.... lol I have played every single non-spinoff Mario game except SML1 and Yoshi's Island DS you know And those "Missions" sound rockin', like achievements that can unlock actual in-game features. I wish New SMB Wii's "achievements" did that D=

I don't know what you guys are talking about saying the bosses are unoriginal. If you're talking about the actual, physical designs, then... okay, maybe they are rather uninspired. But the actual strategies for beating them seem pretty neat.
Also, boodestroyer, I'd love for you to expand more on a lot of your ideas, like individual levels, gameplay mechanics like the eggs, etc. This seems like it'd make a pretty cool game.

But the actual strategies for beating them seem pretty neat. Yes, I did agree that Bramble Piranha was way too tacky and uninspired, and could be something different, which I'll get to later. Eh, no way could I do individual levels, but I can illustrate the worlds (plus the island this time) with what they're like. More artwork of other stuff on the way with that too. Meanwhile, I've got my other game idea, which I've been getting to illustrating more of recently.
