You know, the warp pipes that bring Mario and co outside of him? They're not just a gameplay thing, they need them to continue the storyline, and they never pass through the outside of Bowser.
Talking of which, where does Bowser go when Mario and Luigi are outside of him? It would have been a great optional boss fight you could keep trying, complete with Bowser learning all the moves you teach him as you go.

Y'know, I was JUST about to make this topic. Anyway, I'm under the impression that the Warp Pipes aren't physically connected. Like, when someone enters a pipe, there's a sort of warp portal that transports you to the other side. What I want to know is: what if Bowser entered one of the pipes? It's not possible in-game, of course, but we all know that Bowser can jump. What if he decided to hop in one of the pipes? He'd be in his own body, and then... uh... ...and then what?

That's a good point. Infinite cloning machine?

We had a discussion about this a while ago on TMK. I came to the conclusion that he'd simply disappear from the material world, and the only way left to access the inside of his body would be the pipes. Either that or the universe would implode.
Seems to be like the Vacuum Mushroom essentially turned Bowser's insides into a pocket dimension. I would imagine Bowser would be able to feel the results of himself messing around his own innards just like he felt Mario and Luigi, assuming the act of jumping into pipe leading inside himself doesn't destroy the universe.

Maybe... I don't know... the Apocalypse...

The Universe as we know it would implode and be replaced by something even more bizarrely inexplicable.
However, there is the chance this has already happened.
H2G2 references aside, I guess maybe the pipes wouldn't work for Bowser.

The Universe as we know it would implode and be replaced by something even more bizarrely inexplicable. No that did already happen, it's called the ending of Super Mario Galaxy.

I think we discussed this topic in another topic. It just proves that Warp Pipes really are Warp Pipes and are not always connected
Mario was in Brooklyn at one point of his life Mario always was in the MK
Add one tally to the first collumn

The second half of your post makes no sense.

I'm just saying that if Warp Pipes really do just warp then Mario and Luigi could have been in Brooklyn and then warped to MK and vice-versa. Therfore one point is being given to the people that support that theory

But there's no evidence in-game that says they ever once lived in Brooklyn...

But there is also no proof that they never did either. I'm just saying that the whole thing that warp pipes actually do WARP sometimes could benefit the Brooklyn theory.

DKL clarified it as taking place in Big Ape City, though.
Read DKL's manual, and then get back to me.

Ugh.....Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong GB and Donkey Kong Land collectively make it blatantly obvious that Mario has never been in Brooklyn in the games continuity at any point in his existence. Period end. Why does he even NEED to be from Brooklyn anyway? Does it ADD anything? Near as I can tell it just adds another unnecessary fanon backstory to Mario that goes against all the simplicity Mario is known for. Yes, I'm well aware that this is a forum about pondering details nobody cares about but I wasn't aware pointless baseless character biographies were considered part of that.
I thought this thread was supposed to be about the pipes in M&L3 anyway...

Warp pipes are not connected. They act like wormholes, which explains how the Mario Bros. can go in and out of Bowser. The same applies for any other wormhole transporting the warper from A to B even if they are going on the other side of the Mushroom Kingdom and the Earth to Mushroom Kingdom warps too.

I don't see that kind as actual warps, more like just pipes.
