The Chuckola Cola in PM2 is a bottle of vine in the Japanese and French version though, and the "soda bars" are simply bars in my version too.

Well, they can't go ahead and show alcohol in an E rated game. But they did go through a lot of trouble integrating the whole "chateau" angle into the first M&L.

In the original version of SMK, champagne appears and Peach even gets drunk. Maybe that soda is the equivalent of alcohol only in the Beanbean Kingdom ?
