About Kremling homes, I considered Krem quay a sort of "Tree-Top Town" on Crocodile Isle. After all, it was a large port at one point. Plus, it was close to the nearest center of entertainment: Krazy Kremland.
Thoughts?

It's not unusual to assume they'd live in the swamp, being crocodiles and all.
If that's not the case, then maybe the are they live in is on the side of the island we didn't see in-game.

It would be safe to assume their actual cities are either at Krem Quay, Krazy Kremland, or on the other side of the island. It's certain their houses are in the swamps. When Crocodile Isle sinks, their cities are probably utterly demolished, and when it's brought back, I wouldn't say they ever get around to reconstructing them.

They did build the mechanical island in DK64, so they probably live there now.

Or they built a new home far away from DK Island and found some other monkey tribe to steal bananas from

Or K. Rool's power over Kremlings has weakened to the point that they're all just rouges living in the wilds. (Theory I developed after DK: KoS)
