Then again, he's kind of a hypocrite. Aren't all Frenchies like that, though? (Apologies to Koopalmier.) myfacewhen.com/14/Yeah, Broque's pretty much a hypocrite. Although they may have thought about the "Broque hates Mario because he bricks blocks" joke without remembering the Broque battle. After all, you fight him at the start of the game and you get to meet him as the Mario bros. much later.

Yeah, they probably thought that since it was a Mario game they were playing, they wouldn't have the brain power or the attention-span in order to remember something like thatOh wait.

I didn't remember something like that. But I'm an idiot, so I guess it doesn't count. Still, I don't think they cared about such a small detail.

.... However. I guess there's just another banal reason we won't win. We simply don't have enough nukes to cover the surface of the Mushroom World. I read somewhere we only have enough for 10% of the Earth... and the Mushroom World, as we have seen, is much, much bigger. Actually, if we have enough nukes to cover 10% of the earth, then that's enough nukes to cover 1 third of all the land or 33.3333%, and the land is the part that matters as I don't really think there are too many underwater civilizations on the MW (at least that we've seen), and I believe the MW as a whole may even be smaller than our planet, if so then nukes alone would be able to hit over 33.3333% of the MW. BTW, those figures make me think that we may need to be making more nukes. I mean, how are we supposed to have a proper nuclear apocalypse if over 66% of the human inhabited part of the planet isn't hit? O wait, I know! Nuclear fallout, that should do the trick, and I think that could also help to increase the effectiveness of an all out nuclear attack on the MW, though knowing Mushroom Worlders they'd probably just all transform into crazier and somehow more powerful mutated versions of what they used to be. I wonder what kind of range nuclear fallout has.

Like I said, Magic beats Nuclear technology. Why? Because Nukes are bound by the Laws of Physics, while Magic, on the other hand, is not. Imagine if Fawful got ahold of, say, the Star Rod, he would be unbeatable(well, by anyone short of Mario, that is).

The Star Rod isn't really magic. Wishes are transformed into an invisible energy by the Star Road, which is then carried to Star Haven by Star Kids and the Star Rod makes the wish come true by writing it on the future part of the absolute timeline. Magic really is a logic-destroying thing. Star Energy isn't magic, for instance. Power-ups are magic, as they make things happen without a logical reason. Magikoopas' attacks, too. And maybe the Cobalt Star.
But it's true that, with the Star Rod, anyone can win. Actually, they'd only all have to wish for victory, and they'd win.

How is any of what you just described not magic?
Once again, I'm with Gyllynn on this one. Magic beats real-world physics by virtue of being supernatural in nature. It's sorta like how Superman, despite being practically immortal, is still vulnerable to magic and supernatural forces simply because the nature of his immortality is biological in nature.

I hate Superman(and pretty much any DC related thing besides Batman, I'm a Marvel person myself), but I know what you mean. If the Star Rod defies the Laws of the Universe, then it MUST be Magic, because any energy, no matter how powerful is subject to these laws, while the Star Rod is not.

The question of physical laws exists though. What are they in Mushroom World/Mario's world/universe? Could they stop real world tech and stuff working?

Until there's ever a game where Mario's world starts spilling over into the real world (and I hope to Primus there never is) we won't know for sure.
I'd rather keep discussion around here to Mario's world exclusively, for the sake of my own mental health.

RL armies can't warp dimensions. Warping dimensions is the only way to stop Count Bleck/Dimentio from destroying the universe. Dimentio wins.

But what if the RW armies got hold of a Apeture Science Portal Gun? MW would be screwed. Make one Portal in the RL, kidnap Mario (it's been done, Super Princess Peach), Star Rod, and that freaky umbrella, throw them through the Portal to the RW world, close Portal. MW=Game over. ...How would they even GET the portal over to the Mushroom Kingdom in the first place?

The portals don't work like that... they only transfer you from one portal to another.

What I'm trying to say is that the ASHPD (the portal gun from Portal) doesn't work that way. I figue if you got a portal gun that can fire portals between dimensions, then that would work.

Gameboy Wario will win in the long run no matter who he's fighting or what is going on simply because everything will only make him lose coins or go through humiliating pratfall transformations.

Don't worry, when we get the forum tournament thingy up and running I'll post my Friend Code. For now, I'm nowhere near my 3DS and I don't feel like going downstairs to get it.
