Discuss the biology of everyone's favorite Koopa King, such as why everything is so... strange

He isn't from Earth. He's from the Mushroom World. Thus he's an alien, so him having a different biology is quite normal.
As for the Emoglobins, I'll guess Kamek made them in case of the Koopa King would be in a dangerous situation.

I have the feeling that the Emoglobins are natural parts of everyone's body in the Mushroom World. They're just personifications of cells to help the body run.

Maybe they are Bowser's *gasp* Hemoglobins. It isn't that big of a guess to assume they are named after Hemoglobins.

Living Hemoglobin then. I personally think that, when Kamek throws magic at Bowser to make him giant, he doesn't make him directly giant but instead triggers the adrenaline zone.

It is a possibility. It would make more sense if the other Koopa Kids have adrenaline zones like he does.

Yeah, but the Koopalings don't ever become giant.

They are all affected by Kamek's magic though, while Mario isn't.

Ok he isn't affected by Kamek's "growing" magic then. And technically it was Yoshi who was affected by the magic and Baby Mario also got affected because he was touching Yoshi. Anyway I guess you can get rid of the whole theory since the mini-bosses and bosses are affected by the growth magic too.

Their gigantism (or miniaturism) doesn't go as far as in Bowser's case. Baby Bowser was smaller than a Koopa, yet in the final battle of SMW2 you were surely not fighting an enemy of Hookbill's size.
