Not from what I heard.
Although, now that I think of it, I'm not too sure if it was Germany or some other country in Europe.
Edit: And no, I know for a fact that it's not Spanish.

I replayed it, and got to say, this is a really good game. I like how you alternate between the bros and Bowser, it kept the gameplay fresh without it being cumbersome like in Partners in Time.
I felt it should have been a bit longer, it didn't feel as long as Superstar Saga. And Bowser should have gotten a gauntlet of his own, I really wanted a fight with Mario X and Luigi X with Bowser.
Other than that, I liked everything else about it.

Well... You never have a Bros vs. Bowser fight while playing as the king himself. So, it's kinda cheap to have a more difficult fight against a boss you never fought in the first place.

I agree, a gauntlet for Bowser would have actually given me a reason to level Bowser past level 40

I've had it for a while, and still haven't beaten it.
I think I made it up to a little after the first Giant Bowser segment, and then stopped for some reason.
It's a good game, it's just some parts are a bit aggravating.
And there should have been more Bowser gameplay. His parts are much more interesting than the Bros.' parts.

Huh, funny thing is, I thought this was the easiest of the ML's. I recall the first on being the hardest for me. (How many times did I have to restart that final battle with Bowletta...) The second on was average, except for the fight with the first Shroob Princess which I just- %#$@%!

The thing about RPGs is that no matter how hard it was to beat a certain boss. There will always be the person who level grinded for longer than you did and overleveled the boss by a longshot. Look at Bowser X. Everyone says that he is extremely hard, but if you break level 50 and learn how to dodge his attacks, you can beat him easily.

^If you reach level 99 and get max stats, you can kill him in one hit. Now that's truly overleveled...

I hate hate HATE level-grinding!
I could never have the attention span to even reach level 40, even with the beans!

The first ML was the only one I had to grind on. The other two, if you beat every enemy at least once, you should be okay for the final boss in the storyline.
But that first game...man, I had to do the Trunkel and Jojora battles so many times, it wasn't even funny.

I never owned M&L 1 but instead borrowed it from a friend for about two weeks. This was around the time where I was terrible at RPGs and always ran from every single battle (needless to say I was terribly underleveled) so it took me about 50 tries to beat Trunkle (just proves that you can beat any boss if you are good at dodging). And I made it to the Jojora battle which I was unable to beat before I had to give the game back. If I had the game now I probably could have won easily though since now I have made it my policy to never run from battles.

You have just tempted me to go and find some funny image on the web pertaining to Pokemon and the caves, but since I'll probably get hit by Koopalmer for posting it... go look it up yourself.

^ Is actually too lazy to search by himself.
It's Koopalmier, but I guess it doesn't matter.
Anyway... I love this game.

I was so hyped for this game that I kept searching for the patched Japanese ROM. It was playing VERY slowly, but I still completed the game and enjoyed it, and even replayed it. Then I was completely fanboying this game until it was released.
When it was released, I played it for 25 hours without taking a pause, until I completed the game and started grinding to level 40 the next day.

I wish the Dark Star Goombas, Bullet bills, Thwomps, Bob-ombs, koopas, etc. from one of Dark Bowser's attacks could be fought individually by the Bros elsewhere in the game. And did you know that every enemy that the Bros never fight still has an attack pattern for them besides bosses and Dark Mechawfuls (which have an unfinished laser star attack that goes uber slow, you have to jump into it to get it to hit Mario, can't hit luigi, and never ends, so it basically gets the battle stuck)? Use a moonjump code to get into the castle bowser areas. It pwns. You have to head-bash the Naplock's bricks.

You can actually finish the battle with the Dark Mechawfuls, as the attack does end eventually. It takes nearly forever though.
