Right. Parrakarry flies there, and probably others do to. Maybe a warp pipe is too easy to lose the letters in. (Not that it helped Parakarry)

Ohhh kay... Assuming he delivered to mario, that would in theory give bowser enough time to take over the castle, steal the stars, imprison everyone, hide the stars and seal all the doors, possibly forgetting the bob-omb battlefeild door.
