Technically no, because that was Daisy's father.

But in that movie Daisy was the Princess of the MK, so it's not like it's much of a difference btw, the only good thing about the movie was that it started Luigi x Daisy ^_^

You win this round At least Luigi and Daisy are an actual couple, unlike how Peach and Mario are together for a total of like 30 minutes at a time, before kidnappings and other adventures

Nintendo has never really said that they are a couple they have just hinted at it

The hints are so strong they don't need to say it. SSBM: "Some have speculated that Daisy is Luigi's answer to Mario's Peach." Mario Superstar Baseball: Mario has no chemistry with Daisy, but Luigi does. Mario Kart Wii: Statues of Daisy & Luigi and Baby Daisy & Baby Luigi can be seen.

Yeah the thing is besides in spin-off games Daisy and Luigi are never in the same games

I don't see why as soon as it is in a spin-off it's automatically irrelevant. Spin-offs are very helpful because they show a side to the Mario universe when there isn't a big crisis going on.

Maybe the reason why Bowser kidnaps Peach is because he lost to Mario in Mario Kart Wii

Nah, Mario sucks in the Mario Kart series. It's not that he all that bad, but rather his stats are so well balanced, that his skills a totally unremarkable. He's a good character for beginners though...

In theory, but in practice he turns out very bad. Mario and Luigi are easily the worst characters in 64, coming in low places nearly every race as the computer, and in Super Mario Kart, it's extremely rare to see Mario get above 5th. Luigi does do a bit better there though.

I play as Mario all the time on 64 and I win every race

Against a computer, sure. But against a talented Toad or Yoshi user it's not really fair.

Luigi does do a bit better there though. It depends on the game though. Luigi (along with Peach) seems to always come in first or second in Super Circuit. And in Double Dash, It's always one of the heavy kart characters.

Luigi was good in Super Circuit and decent in Super Mario Kart. Mario, however, has been pretty consistent at being a bad racer in just about every game. Double Dash probably is true because the tracks tend to be a lot wider than most, eliminating the massive loss in speed from being off-road. Actually, more tracks than usual don't even have any off-road. That, and of course, Petey and King Boo being almost game-breakingly good.
