Shadow Sirens

The Shadow Sirens are a new, interesting species in the Mario universe, and I, for one, would like to know more about them.
Does the species only consist of Vivian, Beldam, Marilyn, and the Shadow Queen, or are there more?
Personally, I think there are many, many more shadow sirens. Here is my theory (warning, spoilers):

A long time ago in a place that would later be known as Twilight Town, the Shadow Sirens were created under the shadow of the full moon which constantly glowed in the red sky, each given a power of a certain element. All the Shadow Sirens merely roamed around the forest, making themselves at home in shadows and such.
But then, the Twilighters had come upon this new land, and named it their own. They believed it to be a perfect place for their culture, and in order to avoid any harm, the Shadow Sirens were forced to flee.
Since they had been robbed of their home, they grew angry and decided to have a bit of revenge. Combining their powers, they had created the Shadow Queen. The Shadow Queen grew extremely powerful, and began her reign of chaos on all the land.
After she was sealed away, the Shadow Sirens were weak and could not afford to summon much power, and they were forced to go into hiding forever.
As time passed, the moon continued to bring the spirits of shadow to earth, and they instinctively prefered to stay hidden. The Shadow Sirens are hidden everywhere, all over the world. They simply hide in the shadows, talking amongst only themselves.
But still, they know of the legend of the Shadow Queen. Though some may believe this legend (such as Beldam, Marilyn, and Vivian who devoted their time to trying to awaken her) others simply ignore it, saying that it is false.
When the three believers finally gathered together, making their own plan to awaken the Shadow Siren (with the help of some gullible X-Nauts). THeir plan worked, and they had brought back the Shadow Queen.
As you know, Mario conquered over her, and the Shadow Sirens became a more peaceful race.

I don't know if this makes much sense, but hey. What do you think about this subject?

well the race is called shadows,in chapter 2 beldam,vivian,and marilyn call them selves the three shadow sirens(though vivian calls them beauties(SP)

it's good but the shadow queen can just be a strong shadow, or her elemental magic(shadow) had some thing to do with it

That's all I can come to know as shadow stuff.

And this needs to be moved to creatures.

I'm not so sure that the Shadow Sirens are creatures per sae (or however you spell that...) They seem to be more like spiritual entities then physical beings.

I don't think the Shadow Sirens are an actual race, but it would seem logical that they are made of the same...stuff as the Shadow Queen (Just less of it, since they're smaller and weaker.) So perhaps the Shadow Sirens are just a concentration of evil power/energy created by the Shadow Queen. There could be more, if the Shadow Queen chose to create some.

I think that the three Shadow Sirens are part of a race, but that the entire race isn't referred to as the Shadow Sirens. The Shadow Queen definitely belongs to this race . . . maybe the race could simply be called the "Shadows" or something.

They call them selves THE shadow sirens does this mean they're just a group of three who call themselves the shadow sirens but thats my theory.

WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!

The shadow queen has only been mentioned as a witch not as a shadow thing, when you fight her your fighting her spirit since her body was destroyed 1000 years ago. This means that the shadow sirens could be dead spirits!

And they couldnt be concentrated evil because Vivian ( Dr. Suess hat ) is good!

They can be touched because they're roughly the same as boo's!

...That's a good point. The shadow queen must have altered their spirits some way to make them look like that and have their special powers.
You know what else I realized? The Shadow Queen and Shadow Sirens all have five fingers on each hand, and so far, what's the only creature in the Mushroom World we know of that's has five fingers? Humans! If the Shadow Queen was a human that means that we have our first marker of how long humans have been in the Mushroom World.

I don't think the shadow queen did anything to their forms because they still look human they just have little tails I would also belive all four were refered to demons,as they destoryed the city place

Actually the sirens only association with the Shadow Queen was Beldam luring people to the town ruins and spreading the treasure rumor.

They both where there 1000 years ago but I don't think Beldam actually did anything.

And they're probably not demons since Vivian is good.

And a good demon is an oxymoron right?
