Now there's a good question. Also, can one half of them exist on one side of the pipe, while the other half simultaneously exists on the other side?

I assume your using the warp theory. Heat from the outside makes condinsation. I think the roots kinda bundle up so that it blocks the pipe and allows the prianah plant to be positioned comfortably. So it's only a few feet inside the pipe. Seeing as how when mario flames a pirannah plant mario can enter the pipe.

Maybe the materials the pipes are made with, when combined with the water from condensation, nurture the plant as would the nutrients in the ground. They could have adapted this ability over a long period of time.

Oh yea , how can the various fire pirranah species live in lava?
Heat resistant gel secretion?

It's all about adaptation. Different species are fit to live in different enviroments. Also, I think Bowser might have used the Star Rod to give Lava Piranah special powers (I.e: the ability to live in hot lava and fire based attacks)

Doesn't matter, he's head along with the rest of his body got desintigrated when he died.
But the nipper plants he spit out during battle could have drifted to Lava Lava Island....

I have proof lavalava Island is the same Island as the YI one,so it just drifted from the castle

Well, don't leave us hanging... what's the proof?

well plenty of the characters are from YI,those are lava/naval,raphiale the raven, jungle guy,Mr. bush, the putrid piranahas, sushi, and the color varient of the yoshi's are the same colors(except Pm is missing brown) as the YI ones.

I don't think the two are the same. Lava Pirahna's weakness way water, but the battle with Naval Pirahna takes place IN water. By the way, wasn't the the yoshi who was always hanging around with the chief brown?

I think so,and bowser could have used the star rod to change lava/naval piranaha,I rembember lava sating that bowser gave him that volcano, and the weakness could have been a side effect of the fire sheild

Doesn't matter, his head along with the rest of his body got desintigrated when he died. He died. And in a very horrible way too. To contradict the Lava Island/Yoshi Island statement: Yoshi's are all over the Mushroom World, we said Rapheal could have gotten to Lava Lava Island his own way in another thread, and they're named differntly.

and it's spelled raphael in both PM and YI
not to mention you disregaurded the other characters

But the SMW2 Yoshi's Island is in Dinosaur World. Lavalava Island is off the coast of the PM continent.

I think it's on it's own island,YI is HUGE compared to SMW

Well, it's all relative. If we had seen the rest of Dinosaur World in the SMW2 title screen, it may have appeared larger too.

I didn't think this question warranted an entire new thread --------- Petey Piranha has no visible eyes, and yet he seems to be able to function just fine without them. He can even do stuff that would be impossible for someone who was truly blind. So my question is: what dose he use to see? He can be sensing inferred light because he can clearly see objects that don't give off heat. It doesn't seem to be a light sensory thing either. Although that system works, It's not accurate enough to be able to let him perform the type of things he's doing (I.e: driving ) So what is it?
