I'd like to think that, but we do have to go by the maps.

Perhaps the map is upside down top being in te south putting Ice land in the far south. Or maby the Mushroom Planet is smaller than we thoght and World 8 is closer on the other side of the mushroom kindgdom contenent. Or maby Bowser's darkland isn't over there. I always thought that Bowser's Badlands were over in the west. Dose anyone think that the badlands and the dark land are the same place or one is in the other or they are extremly close to eachother? I kinda think if the map up there is facing north then they would be seperate places. I guess it makes sense for the king of all koopas to have more than one place to hang out.

Well that's not a map of the whole world and I won't believe almost all the places are islands when there's clearly land around the in game maps edges.

But they probaly are islands. Just scaled way down in that map I posted. The castles aren't really that big in comparison, it's just their general locations relative to the land masses and the land masses relative to eachother in both size and oreintation. Although it seemd like the one in the sky might be able to move a bit faster than the others. It didn't apear to be securely connected to the ground. The spiral castle might have been connected though but I just would think that it would take more than that to secure the whole thing. I guess if the cloud mass itself did some of the work then it should be possible that the spiral castle wouldn't have much trouble dealing with it then.

wha? you lost me there. Anyways, what makes you think it's South? we must assume all maps point North, and There is snow up north, you know.

There's snow in the south too, you know. Also I think it's pointing north, I was just listing all the possibilities.

Hmm... However, I think that the MK and surrounding area is in the Northern Hemisphere of ME. It's vegetation doesn't match the tropics, or the temperate south of our Earth.

The delphino islands are south west of the mushroom kingdom by the way.

Which would place it in the tropics if the MK is in the Northen Hemisphere, or the Antartic if it's in the Southern. Thus backing up my theory.

Heres a pic:[ftp]http://www.mariowiki.com/images/3/35/Delfino_islands.JPG[/ftp] Now if we assume that they came from the mushroom kingdom than that would put these islands around the tropics.

Hmm, Delfino could be far west of the Kingdom, the curve is probably only for air currents.

I think Isle Delfino is exactly where the Carribean is on our Earth

That doesn't really mean much, because there isn't other landforms in the same spots. Unless you're implying that ME is almost identical to Earth.

I'm sure that is what Nintendo is trying to imply

When Bowser pulls Peach's castle out of the ME orbit you see an almost exact replica of our Earth

It's blue and has clouds...that's not an exact replica, that's necessary to support life.
