I guess we'll have to wait and see whether these games take place near Mushroom Earth or in different parts of the galaxy. After re-watching some of the videos, I've noticed that there is a planet (as in, planet-sized) in the background. Does this show that all those planetoids are just space debris around Mushroom Earth, or is it just because it's world 1? EDIT: Oops, didn't notice I had the last post.

What does the planet look like?

You can't tell, all you can see is the blue atmospheric glow.

Well, whatever it is, I think are concept of what a solar system in the Mushroom Universe looks like will be vastly different after SMGxy.

Is there other planets in the Mushroom Worlds solar system?

We don't know. However, the mini-system of each planet could be the basis for the worlds in SMGxy.

How many moons did we conclude there were? There was the SMW2 moon, the PM2 moon, and the SML2 moon (which was probably the same as one of the first two). I'm sure SMGxy is going to show something different than whatever we decide.

SML2's moon can't be a real moon. If we accept how it really looks, a cresent shapped smily face.

I think there's only on moon. (The one in PM2) Since everyone refers to it as THE moon. Oh and sorry about not posting for 3 weeks, I was on vaction.

That could be it. And everything else is just space debris. Or they're probably just too small to be seen.

Yeah, the YI moon was definitely more like an asteroid than a full-blown moon.
And welcome back, Pdoogan.

THIS JUST IN!!! Space does NOT have air. Mario can survive in space because of these star sprites called Luma.

Bowser probably gave all the baddies similar abilities. As for the natives, they're probably used to it.

The original question is worded funny. I think it ment to say something like if there is no air in space....Are you talking about those levels with the light blue sky like that one surfing bonus stage? I guess there could be a big blue planet nearby the same color as the sky, that would make it hard to notice.

What, the original question "If space is full of air, then why is the sky blue?"?
The original question was posed long before SMGxy was announed.

I can't remember, actually...maybe the moon im PM:TTYD, since a) Mario could breathe and b) stuff could explode.
