Ok, so here's a big question that's been bugging me for a while. What's the deal with the main location of Mario Golf: Advance Tour? It's obviously not in the Mushroom Kingdom, or even in the Marioverse for that matter, since the protagonist has to be transported there via cannon (I dunno how that's supposed to work). And if it's on our Earth in the "real world" then that must mean that Earth knows about the Mushroom Kingdom. At least, knows about it enough to build a transport to get there.
I seem to remember us talking about this in another thread. What do you guys think? Is it on Earth or just a weird section of the Marioverse?

I don't even consider the existance of non-Mario characters in Golf and Tennis.

I never bothered to play any of the gameboy spots spin-offs, so I really don't have an answer right now. Let me look into this a little more before I give a decent opinion.

How is it not apart of the Mushroom World?
I don't know what any of it looks like.

The Donkey Kong Universe website always said that it was in the Mushroom Dimension, but it's really not clear where it is. I'm thinking it is because of the cannon.

I found some proof it takes place in the mushroom world. I didn't bother really playing the game beyond the whole setup part but I found what I was looking for: Now the question is: how did all those humans get there?

Warp pipe of course.

The funny thing is, I played through that entire game, used the warp pipe dozens of times, and it never clicked in my brain what the pipe's presence meant. Good job, Pdoogan.
One thing we have to remember is that this is an educational institution for humans; therefore, there's going to be a lot of humans from different places concentrated in one area, making it seem like there are more humans on Mushroom Earth than there really are.

Interesting. Now the question is, why does crossing over into Mario's "territory" cause them to be able to see the trophy at the end, while everyone else can't?

Maybe to see it, you have to have been where it originated.

Maybe only the winner of the trophy and those that awarded him the trophy can see it.

Why can't humans live in the Mushroom Kingdom?
Sorry for the bump.

Because one species can not evolve exactly the same way on two planets. There's two few of them to support themselves as species anyway.

Well that didn't make any since... I think a better answer to his question is Mario and Luigi are humans right? If they are humans, then they are humans who live in the Mushroom Kingdom. So humans can live there. So about the origin of Mario...are we just going to say that he was "born, storked or whatever" on earth, and then his parents oved to the Mushroom Kingdom, and the stork or whatever delivered Mario and his brother through a pipe or whatever so Mario was born on earth and came to MK:ME then at some point, maybe when the koopa empire started attacking or something he moved back to earth grew up there and then came back to ME when he was older. Or...he could have just been "born, storked" on ME, moved to earth, and then back to ME.

There are definately humans that were born and raised in the mushroom world, thought there doesn't seem to be alot of them. shadowgoomba is right about two species can't evolve exactly the same on two different planets. Probably the original human inhabitants came from earth and just started multiplying.
That always seemed to be the most likely theory to me.

I'm always being proven wrong on here. -_-'
I guess it's right. They all came from pipes, and haven't been there long.

Peach and all of those kings; their families must have been there at least long enugh to somehow become royalty, right. Or probably they just came and built their castles and declared themselves rulers. Not like anyone else would have cared, well maybe besides Bowser. >.>
