I think so too. I always thought of Dark Land as being part of the Koopa Kingdom. I think Dark Land has always been the home of the Koopa Empire and wasn't taken over by the Koopas.

Yeah, I always thought of the castle from SMB3 being the actual home, which Bowser and the rest of his empire live in.

As for SMB, I think all of it took place in the mushroom kingdom. As for SMB3, well of corse world 8 is part of the koopa kingdom.

Yep, every land except Dark Land has a human king. Mario goes there because Bowser kidnaps Peach while he is in Pipe Land.

Preety much, they should both be correct. Pipe land is the land of pipes and pipe maze is the maze found mostly under pipe land and a bit above.

I think Pipe Land and Pipe Maze are the same thing. I always call it the Pipe Maze and I don't think it is an actual seperate region or land as it is underground. The Pipe Maze IMO is basically throughout the whole or most of the underworld in the Mushroom Kingdom, which is how Mario or anyone can travel hundreds of miles in just a few seconds especially since Dark Land is probably miles away from the Mushroom Kingdom.

The pipe maze is the name of both the islands and the underground maze.
