All the things that are in the game but can't be in real life: ( discuss the things you think could exists )
Basics: Unlimited breath underwater Unlimited bullet bills, spinys ( Lakitus ), and hammers ( Hammer Bros. ) Non fatal explosions 10 foot jumps 50 foot landings Carrying tons of objects Sword moves that don't cut through charecters ( not Mario but meh )
In the Paper Mario's: Moving sideways through bars and cracks Not being able to climb or move around barriers or obsticles The RPG fighting pattern The action command Some of the badges ( Hammer throw, Double Dip ) Star Points Flower points HP ( hit with massive attack but can still fight like nothing happened? ) Only one partner fighting at a time
There's some others I'll think up later.

Falling off the screen Bouncing on lava Only the butt ever catches on fire Eggs following Yoshis Being told which buttons to press The concept of 1-UPs

Not being able to go around enemies in side scrollers Mario never saying anything Enemies bodies disappearing after you kill/knock them out the audience in most PM2 battles death because the timer ran out bottomless pits game overs saving
As for some of the things that could exist, first off: flower points. It's not so much as a definite number as it's how much energy Mario has left to attack. Using special moves like that could be tiering after a while. The same thing with star points but instead of Mario, it's the Crystal stars/star spirts that run out of energy. As for some of the fatal/non-fatal things, Mario seems rather indestructible to some extent. I'm guessing that's the star power at work.

Collecting items by touching them The concept of BP Driving into lava with no side effects All questions are multiple choice (as in, no one ever gives a question without some answers provided) Pausing and anything to do with it (equipping stuff during the pause, etc)

O here's a good one:
While playing Paper Mario, none of the enemies within 10 feet notice you. Especially the gaurds in Tubba Blubbas Castle. And if they do they give up chasing after another 10 feet.

Taking damage from an enemy's touch The "goals" at the ends of levels (Super Princess Peach) Enemies respawning Characters saying the same things over and over until an event triggers new phrases Coins giving 1-Ups

Didn't we think somewhere that having 100 coins in one place produced a 1-Up Mushroom? Here's some more: When ghostly, you don't go through the ground The hearts/stars/music notes/whatever in speech ballons Some attacks go through solid ground No one ever has to sleep, eat, drink, use the washroom, etc.

ghosts can be hit (boos) virtualy everything is alive. being killed several times and come back to life due to a number of lives. how green mushrooms allow you to come back after dieing

Getting crushed in scrolling levels against the edge of the screen Dying by simply being touched by an enemy Turn based battles in RPGs Enemies dying by being jumped on. (with the exception of goombas)

I had a theory that involved a toad salesman sell you a 1-up mushroom for 100 coins, nintendo didn't show it because it wasn't importent.

That theory about the 1 up sounds quite good, I seen something like that in Lemmy's Land in the Wendy's Phonebooth section. I don't usually go by those as some of them IMO sound quite farfetched but a few are good.

Only beiong able to move left and right in sidescrollers. Characters who just stand outside 24-7 in RPGs Music playing when there dosn't seem to be a sound sytem anywhere in sight. Lol, they shoulf be more like SS:SV and put speakers everywhere. Then when you got tired of the music you could just shoot a missile or something over and blow up the speaker. Lol
