I've always been very curious as to what kind of livestock/beasts of burden the Marioverse has. We know they have cows because of the Moo Moo Farm/Moo Moo Milk industry (and racetrack ^_^). But what else do they have? Do they have horses? Goats? Howabout Dogs and cats?

I don't think I've ever seen those kinds of things in the Mario Universe. Cows are the only ones that come to mind.

Pigs made appearances in both PM1 and PM2, hinting that pork/bacon may be an industry.

This may be a long shot but I seem to remember a spell in Super Mario RPG that turns your characters into helpless sheep. Does that mean that sheep exist in the Marioverse as well?

Come to think, sheep also appear in PM1 and 2 as well, granted as items.

Also, in Wario Land 4, one of the CDs Wario finds is entitled About That Shepherd (or something like that). On the cover it has a picture of a shepherd on a hill with some sheep.

Wandering animals can always come through a warp pipe.

True. I've also begun to take into account the animals found in the DKC games (i.e. rhinos, elephants, ect.)
