Hey man, good to have you aboard. I voted for Super Mario Bros 3, (possibly one of the best games ever made). So, why Sonic 2? Honestly, I thought Sonic 3&Knuckels (another game I freaking love) would have been much more worthy to go up against something as great as SMB3. Sonic Trivia: It's a little known fact that Sonic 3 and Sonic&Knuckles were supposed to be a single game. However, when the deadline for the game hit and the Sonic Team still wasn't quite finished with it, they decided to split it into two games in order to meet the deadline. They released Sonic 3 first in order to buy themselves enough time to complete the Sonic&Knuckles portion of the game. So, in order to play the full version of the game it was intended to be, you would need to hook the Sonic 3 cartridge up to Sonic&Knuckles, hence why I refer to it as a single game in my above post. Just a little morsel of info for you Sonic fans out there  . |

Yeah, Sonic3 and Knuckles would have been a better game to challenge Super Mario Bros. 3, one of the greatest games ever made.
