Well apparently the Golden Hammer gets rid of thet "almost". Plus it let's you float. It dousn't really matter though, as it hardly ever apperes.

Either that or the Hammer will be weaker than before.

The old hammer didn't work verry well against charachters like Bowser, DK, Marth, Ganondwarf, and Falco...

It worked fine. Just because they have a faster drop rate isn't enough to protect them. Their chance of being KO'd (assuming the player is decent and the head doesn't fall off) just goes from about 95% to 92% or so.

The new update's up. It describes enimies in the Subspace Emmisarry. Cameos: the R.O.B. Squad, complete with the lovable accesorries, and the enemy "Roader" which has a very similar helmet to that of Excitebike Racer, and is somewhat similar.

Roader remindes me of Wheely and Rex-Wheely.

Yeah, me too (well mostly just Rex), but there's there's no clear indication that was where he originated from.

Roader looks like a Wheelie Rider from the Kirby series.

Roader looks like a Wheelie Rider from the Kirby series. As said by the two posts above this one.

Today's update was dull. Just a Poke'ball Poke`mon (Piplup) from Diamond and Pearl (I mention the game because had it been the first, it would have been significant. Sadly, that was Munchlax). The most interesting thing is the confirmed return of palette swaps, as shown by the Ice Climbers in the screenshot.

Palette swaps? I didn't see any palette swaps.
Anyway, I don't see the big deal about 4th gen pokemon. I never doubted they would be in. P.S. The R.O.B. squad look awesome.

Look in the last picture when they are swept away. I believe you can see three or four differently colored Ice Climbers in the jumble. And yes, the R.O.B.s are awesome. I doubted a character appearance, so this is the next best thing.

Nah, that's just Popo, Nana, and Peach in the wave there. Who would doubt colour swaps anyway?

Oh yeah, you're right. I geuss I wasn't paying enough attention. It just looks different because Nana's parka is so dark in that shot. And to answer your question, some people wanted it to be alternate costume-exclusive. I would like to see Dr. Mario and Wario's original outfit, but exclusive is a little much anyway.

Dark parka could be another elemental effect: fabric darkens when it gets wet.

That would explain why Peach looks the same, as her dress is more silky than the parka. (And thus more water resistant.)

Well, this update proved the people that thought Snake won't get updated until release wrong. And they certainly went all out in the update: we get the profile, some MGS music, and all of Snake's special moves. Don't really care for B-Side or B-Up, but it suits him (or so I've heard) but I really like B-Down and B moves. B-Side is a copy of Ness's PK Thunder and B-Up seems like a generic recovery. B-Down is good because a lot of people wanted a drop-it-and-run type Down Special. And the Grenade is highly original and natural feeling. I could so see Kirby doing that. Whiny Konami people probably made the update instead of Sakurai, actually. This explains the sudden outburst of content.

News flash: Lucas is in.
Ness: Hey! No fair! I'm part of the Original 12!

Two assist trophy updates today. 8-Bit exitebikes and an 8-Bit Lakitu.

I can't decide if the 8-bit stuff is a creative choice or an ugly corner-cut. Sure, retro is good, but save it for the trophies, eh?
