Petey's now a confirmed boss. But what's more interesting is at the bottom: you can choose which princess to save. That implies a cool little choose-your-own-adventure type thing. Sounds interesting.

This has been a great week for smash bros.
Monday: All of links moves.
Tuesday: Subspace emissary update.
Wednesday: A highly wanted newcomer.
Thursday: A new final smash (And smashville music).
Friday: Another subspace emissary update.
In an attempt to add content to this post, I will now list the stuff that we know about but have no updates for:
Meta Night, Snake, The halberd, helipad, Pokemon stadium, Mario circuit, and Kirby's final smash.

Kinda weird isn't it? People used to be satisfied with a veteran or even a stage or maybe item, but now, anything less than a newcomer or major new mode (Subspace Emmisarry [sp]) disappoints people. Some people are never satisfied...

It's that people's expectations are rising. Bad because of more frequent disappointments, but it's inevitable. It gets the hype train going.

I'm surprised no one updated this week. We got a lot. No characters, but still. We know all of Metaknight's special moves almost all of Poke`mon Trainer's, some characters can glide, Wario Ware looks awesome in my opinion, Spicy Curry was...decent, and Andross is a cool Assist Trophy. It also eliminates the "Dead characters can't show up" theory.

I was waiting till today to get them all updated at once.
Anyway, what's the "Dead characters can't show up" theory?

Smash Bros. is known for spacetimensional rifts and duplicationortions, so dead chars showing up is completely sensible.
(I'm talking about the Link/Y.Link and Mario/Dr.Mario clones.)

“...which was delayed for some reason.”
What reason would that be? It's not like they changed MK at all.

It's probobly because theyare lazy.
When I first went to Smash bros today, the first thing that caught my eye was the pokemon stadium update. "bout time" I thought, but after scrolling down I saw something else, I saw that Marios new down special move was FLUDD!
Take it how you will.

Looks like they moved the Mario Tornado onto his d-smash. This also means we can expect Luigi's Down+B to change as well.

I'm guessing i'll be the poltergust 4000.
I also hope they'll change luigi's green fireball into an electric attack.

Yeah. Puts more power into G&W's return as well, because he's also a retro non-clone.

Lyn was a highly requested Fire Emblem character, mainly just because she's the most well-known female lord. And power to Game & Watch! He was my favorite character. Thank you Ice Climbers! Take that, ignorant people who don't understand that without them, there would be no Smash Bros.! Also, the mix-and-match Special Mode was a giant improvement. I don't really see the point of the Golden Hammer, though. The normal hammer was basically invincible anyway.

As predicted by Smashboards, daily update #100 is huge: the confirmation of online.

Very huge, with lots of little details: 1. You can battle with friends or strangers 2. There will be more Wi-Fi modes 3. Customizable icon and taunt messages 4. Sandbag Mini-Game! Hopefully this means the return of the Home-Run Contest!

The golden hammer is from wreaking crew.
And there have been rumors about online play for over a year, so this is not a big suprise. It's nice to see it finally confirmed though.

I know where the Golden Hammer's from, but it doesn't make it any less pointless. No offense to fans of it, but the Hammer was almost always a free KO or two anyway.
