As in, tomorrow Sunday? That's cool. I'm sure you won't be able to find everything by then, but tell me what you think of it.

Like I said, I'm getting mine in a week, but I'm going to miss the hype.

Got it. Plays great. Quick opinions: - You grab items far more frequently than you try to - you can grab them during dash attacks, during air dodges, etc.
- Subspace Emissary is mostly simple Kirby-esue beat-'em-up stages with some frustrating mazes thrown in at times
- Every character seems more playable (partly because no one falls as fast)

Thanks for ruining it for me. Appreciate it. At least put a spoiler tag next time.

Okay, I just realized we don't have a spoiler tag. (I've been playing Brawl, so I've been busy.) So I've gone back to edit the last two spoiler-containing posts to include the code spoiler goes here. (I know it's a little late, but there aren't just members that may read these posts.) Use said colour tags with said colour (00FFFF, the same colour as the post backgrounds) around spoiler text.
I suppose we need some sort of a spoiler policy, like maybe "you can post story-related spoilers without a spoiler tag a month after release" or something. I'll go make a poll about it so as to not clutter this topic.
Anyway...has anyone tried Brawl online yet? I'm somewhat disappointed by all the lag, but that may be just because of the 1,400,000 people on the servers.

I tried it online and it worked fine, but I heard that it doesn't work for some. I think it has something to do with incompatibility with some routers.

I love this game. It's much better than 64 and even Melee.
The only thing wrong is the laggy online. :/

"I’ve watched videos/played against ’1337’ people who spammed Wavedashing. All it does is make you look like a ... retard and give me more time to plan out what I’m going to do while you prance around like a fairy. Good for you, time to die." (W Spatula)

You can't wavedash and glitch move in Brawl, which makes the game more fun, but only a bit less competitive (Even more if you think of it, less stages are banned because Fox isn't uber-pw3nage.).

The melee stages got shrunk apparently.

It's because the character models are so much bigger in this game.

The big guys like Bowser are definately bigger, but I don't think the small ones like Kirby or Pikachu changed size at all. Seems like they decided to make the size range bigger. I mean, look how darn tall Ganondorf is. He can't fit in some places this time around.

No, the actual character models are bigger to show more detail. Some of them such as Ganondorf and Bowser are even bigger comparatively, but no one stayed the same size. That's why the Melee stages seem smaller. They were completely unchanged, while the rest of the stages grew to fit the size of the characters.

They're really about the same size as they were in 64, just more detailed obviously. so that means Melee is the odd one out in terms of gameplay and size.
