Actually, you can hold R (or Z(or "-")) to start as ZSS.
Also, there's been a very interesting find...(spoiler! highlight to read)Luigi's Final Smash is a circle of inversion that initially flowers people and them timeslows them. What the heck? Where could this be from?(end spoiler)

Just a way to add another random power. His moveset has been sort of a running gag: in the original, he did the flurry of punches in front of him, in Melee, he had the Green Missile, and random yet extremely powerful effects are quite common.
Bad news: all the characters we've discussed is all there will be. Unless some are downloadable.

You can't, that's the problem.
Anyway, NEWS UPDATE!
There will be a total of 42 stages, including returning ones from melee.
Pokemon stadium is returning (did anyone doubt it would?).
New stages include Luigi's masion and Spear Pillar from Pokemon Diamond and pearl.
And acompaning the very 8-bit Mario Bros stage is the extreamly 8-bit...
DONKEY KONG!
Yes you heard/read corectly, but then, with new ladders and sliding barrels, how could they afford NOT to put it in?

They have Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2? Seems pretty pointless. The DK stage was inevitable ever since the DK music. Anyway, today's update was interesting mainly because Luigi kept his Luigi Cyclone move instead of the Poltergust 3000.

The two pokemon stadiums is not so pointless, they each have diffenent types. Anyway, I just finished watching all the subspace emisarry videos and have found out many things.
First...
The Ancient Minister is R.O.B!!!
Also that meta-ridley is a boss. Regular ridley is too in case you didn't know.

It still seems kind of dumb when they could put in a completely unique stage from the past instead. R.O.B.  What a twist! Professors Hector and Vector BETTER make a cameo. Maybe a Smick too. |

It makes slightly more sence when you remember that the ROB squad is the ancient ministers escort.
Anyway, todays update is the luigi's mansion stage. Apparently you can crumble parts of it, but are there any ghosts? That pic of luigi standing over the ruined masion was pretty funny though.

Haven't seen any ghosts, somewhat disappointing. Then again, havn't seen any video of the mansion being rebuilt, they many appear there.
Oh, and there are apparently only 41 (single-player) events this time. And #40 is more epic than #41 (which looks like an unnecessary shoehorn).

That's cuz they are. In SSBM, Mr. G&W could be unlocked with 1,000 Vs. matches. I believe the final character unlock in Brawl is at about 450.
This is just characters, however. I suspect that certain stages and trophies are gona be really hard to get.

We can only hope. Zelda and Ice Climbers special moves, nothing special. Although the names of Zelda's moves have changed back to their Melee names.

Guess what? I saw the NA TV ad for Brawl today. It was on TSN (the Canadian equivalent of ESPN) this morning. Was a "Wii Would Like To Play" ad, but not as bad as the other ones. Took place in an electronics store, had a bunch of various kinds of footage...can't remember much, really. Been looking all day and it's not online.

So whos excited about Brawl? 1 more week I hear. Until it comes out. I have spring break in 2 weeks. And my Birthday is at the end of the second week. I wonder if I can get my mom to get me a Nintendo Wii and Brawl for my birthday, maybe even have a party near the begining of spring break so I could spend the whole time playing Brawl, that would be sweet.
