Let's see... the site was down for much of yesterday and today, with the blogspot blog deleted. I managed to save the site by logging in and undeleting it from the dashboard, but it seems Mario Thoughts is gone as well.
My only guess is that Artemendo has decided to call it quits or something and delete freaking everything (replace the middle word and it references the Encyclopedia Dramatica article!).
Never the less... what to do... I've e-mailed artemendo, and I honestly expect a pretty irate reply if the above scenario is the case, but I want to know whether the site is shutting down forever or something.

It's bad, the site is now gone permanently. Artemendo will also not return here, and he might have left the fandom in general:
I wish all Mario fans, and especially you, to have fun with Mario in the future, and to continue enjoying and enriching the fandom.

Well, you needed an explanation to why the site was gone, and his e-mails provided said explanation. Besides, he didn't say what the personal problems were, and I wouldn't have posted them if he did. Everything said is probably fair game.

A big personality of the Mario fandom dies Internet-wise and I don't know why yet. He must have serious problems in life right now. I want to know what. I'm worried. Him going away won't be valid until I know why. |

Oh. I thought you read the thread that cheat-master30 linked to. Just did. If he really doesn't want to say anything, I'd guess that has to be very bad. Or he just doesn't care about Mario anymore. Either way, hope it's going to be okay for him. |

This is really a shame. Waluigious was really the only blog of it's kind that I knew of. Mariology sites in general are few and far between, so losing a good one like that is a real blow to the community.

So only Mario Wiki then, because DK Vine is mainly about Donkey Kong and Rare's games (and would probably appreciate not being turned into Waluigious 2.0), and the Mushroom Kingdom forum is nearly as dead as this forum is.

In any case, without Artemendo and his site, I think Mario Wiki will be a good new home for us if these forums end up vanishing. He was a stand-up guy, and I wouldn't have known about these forums or even this part of the fandom if it wasn't for Waluigious.
