Well, there's always something, but I think analyzing backgrounds in-depth is what I could be doing. This is not text-only as much as it is text+pictures, but certainly no videos.
Mario Thoughts... sadly I have too many real-world problems for that right now. They'll return, though.
Thank you so much. This means a lot to me! I am always so honoured if someone likes my work, and the work of my associates.
You mean, on Mariology? What do you mean, theme musics? Like, from sports games? This should not go on Waluigious soon because this would have like 30 videos.

On Mariology, obviously. The facts would be for theories and all. There'd be multiple levels of factness: the very confirmed facts, the facts coming from observation (like Peach's size, which can be known due to both the official size chart and Mario's official size), the facts that are different between foreign versions (like Yoster Island = Yoshi Island), the facts that were retconned (like the Koopa Kingdom or Mario being middle-aged at the time of Donkey Kong), the facts that actually vary from game to game (like Bowser's size)...

I'm writing a new article at the moment (well, kind of). It'll be a future Waluigious post about the games that are arguably more difficult than the Lost Levels (not hacks, published actual games by Nintendo), and have exactly one video in it, with the rest text.
Yes, Yoshi's Island DS is one game mentioned (at least, the secret levels). And for the sake of not subjecting Artemendo and others to the torture of horribly unfair levels in an already to some horrible game, I've even gone ahead and described all the secret levels, because you can't even find videos of them on Youtube.
Random note: Someone should make a joke hack replacing all the Yoshi's Island music with Yoshi's Island DS music, and then give it out to people like Artemendo. The reaction would be priceless, especially if you didn't say it was a mod.

Yes, Yoshi's Island DS-blah blah blah..... Ugh, I HATED those levels! It's like the game was mocking us by making the main levels so pathetically easy and then making those secret one obscenely hard. I think I only barley managed to finished one or two, let alone managed to get a decent score on them...

It's barely harder than Super Mario Bros., I don't see how can this game be seen as a hard game. Donkey Kong Country Returns is harder (but still not that hard). For Mario games that are harder than The Lost Levels: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island DS, the whole Donkey Kong Country series, and Super Mario Bros. 3 (the controls are difficult as hell. Did Mario lost some agility between the two games ?).

I don't know why, but I was never able to beat the original SMB. You can forget about the lost levels, I couldn't even beat the original. Yet somehow I got through DKCReturns pretty easily (not talking about the time trials or finding the puzzle pieces, just the main game itself). I even beat The Perfect Run without too much effort. SMB3... I admit I used a P-Wing on one or two levels in World 8. But I somehow managed to beat all the rest...

Great article, although I really disagree about The Perfect Run and the SMG levels.
The FDS version of The Lost Levels was really hard. Not because of the platforming, but because you couldn't save. You're obligated to lose many lives in this game, so that you can understand some things, like how to cross that giant pit when the other side is too far (you must jump on an incoming Bullet Bill). The FDS version only becomes as easy as the SNES (Wii) one if you do the infinite 1UP trick at the start of the game.

I think that The Perfect Run wasn't hard (and that three laser-shooting things aren't a lot), and I feel almost shameful at the idea of any Galaxy 1 (or Galaxy 2) level being as difficult or harder than The Lost Levels. And I don't have any problems with all 3 motion-control "mini-games". But it's just my opinion.

Eh? Since when does music have to have videos? I think he means Mp3s or midis of mario music from the various games like on LL and VGMusic.com.

Because for about 3 years, almost no one ever directly links MP3s when discussing music anymore, instead embedding a YouTube video with that music in it. And MIDIs like the stuff on Lemmy's Land are officially obsolete.

And MIDIs like the stuff on Lemmy's Land are officially obsolete. I don't think MIDIs are exactly obsolete. Remember, VG Music is still extremely popular, and fan games and ROM hacks use them a lot (at least, they base their music off them). Although with the latter two, I think Mario Fan Games Galaxy or the like looks down on MIDI use and SMW hacks will soon have MSU1 support or something for music in wav format, so I guess MIDIs are on the way out, just not there yet. As for the MP3s... probably cost. The bandwidth cost, assuming you host them yourself would be huge. Actual MP3 files I also hear aren't particularly... well optimised in terms of file size either, and I hear files like MP4/MPEG etc are a lot smaller. But this whole post is only slightly relevant to Waluigious.
