...No, SMBMaster, I was talking about MY God, not The Lord of Games, lol! You thought I was talking about The Lord of Games! Lol! Wait---Should games like Perfect Dark and Banjo-Kazooie still be considered part of the Nintendo Multiverse? I say no, and as such, I do NOT consider them as even existing.

Agghhh! Well, as most of you know, I believe the Nintendo Multiverse was created by a single, Supreme Being, but if I acknowledge the Square-Enix Multiverse' existence, then He would have made Him the creator of EVERY Video Game Universe subsequently! Curse you cross-company, cross-overs! I need time to think. According to Super Paper Mario, the Ancients created EVERYTHING. The Lord of Games ? Arceus ? The Light Goddesses ? The gods of the Fire Emblem series ? The gods of the Kid Icarus series ? The gods of any series ? They are Ancients. Although I see series like Final Fantasy or Banjo-Kazooie as being in another universe, with its own version of afterlife.

I thought the star spirits created everything in the Mario Universe but I've never played Super Paper Mario so I don't know about the ancients.

The Star Spirits only protect the Star Rod (the one that is on Mario's planet, at least).

How many Legendaries are Ancients?

POKéMON Legendaries were made by Arceus, so they don't count as Ancients or even as anything god-like.

Point taken.
I only say because we've got Pokemon that control Time and Space, Those that announce the coming of the seasons, and even those that created the world from the ground up.

Created by Arceus to help in the making of the worlds. I assume Arceus is an Ancient who transformed himself into a beast that can't die nor age, so that he could watch over Dialga and Palkia for the eternity.

Well, I can't find anything that states that the Ancients created everything, but if you can, I'd like to see it. You are wrong about one thing, though; Arceus created everything in Sinnoh Mythology, I doubt the people of the Pokemon Universe still believe that. According to Myth, in the beginning there was Chaos, then an Egg formed and Arceus hatched out of it. Arceus crafted the Universe with his 1,000 arms, and created Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina; But Giratina was corrupt, so Arceus banished him to the Distortion World. Keep in mind, this story may have some truth(Arceus banishing Giratina to the Distortion World), but it is mostly just Myth... Although I've been wrong before. Also, even if the Ancients "did" create everything, who says that they weren't created by a Supreme Being? No one says that the Almighty was created, but we assume he was. No one said Palutena was created, but we assume she was. Why can't the Ancients be the same?

Nothing says it yet, and it'd be useless anyway.
And, I agree Arceus didn't create everything. He only created Earth, and Pokémons to regulate time and space. I'm pretty sure the game (my version, at least) states that the Ancients created all worlds, and Flipside and Flopside too.
Here's what I could find on the Mario Wiki page:

I always assumed they were just referring to the Sub-Dimensions featured in Super Paper Mario, but I guess that it's open to interpretation.

Well I did reead this whole Arceus theory thing stating that Dialga Palkia and Giratina are responsible for creating some of the legendaries who are in turn responsible creating other legendaries until it gets to the point where all the legendaries were created. But about the whole video game multiverse and everything. Maybe there is one person who created the dieties of each video game world. (Not counting realistic games like Halo and CoD those games are too realistic to be anything but... movies that came out at Yoshi Theater 3 years ago

Seems like a pretty typical adaptation of the Chinese wu-xing (five element) system to the European four-element system
Wind~air~wood - spring Fire - summer Earth - late summer [Metal - autumn] Water - winter
I can't connect the balls to the elements, but water is traditionally the element of wealth.

Why are we even assuming Pokemon and Mario take place in the same dimension? (Or at least the same part of whatever universe all the Nintendo stuff is in.

We aren't... When we were talking about Arceaus we were talking specifically about the POKeMON Universe, not Mario's. I was suggesting that Arceus(nor any POKeMON for that matter) had no role on the Religion of the people, and it was simply a Mythology widely accepted by the people who inhabited Sinnoh in ancient times.
