Let's Get The Site Going Again!

We did it before, and we can do it again! I, once again, apologize for my hiatus. But now that I've had time to examine the Forum in detail, I've noticed that Toomai, the last active Administrator, hasn't logged in for almost 2 Months! I'm sure his has a good reason, and even if he doesn't, who are we to judge him? I mean, he has a life, too! But the point is, we need an Admin, and in the event that Toomai never returns, we need to do something! As I am the Global Moderator-Elect, I took it upon myself to make this thread and make the first suggestion: We migrate to a new Forum! I understand it might be hard, seeing as we have so many memories here, but if we don't have any way to promote an Admin, then we NEED to do something! When I first got here, I was so excited that I posted everyday, and with your help we saved the Forum from the brink of death. I would rather have a place for us to discuss Mariology on a new forum, and still have the same Members, then to remain here with no hope of expansion. As my much as this would upset me, it's up to you guys to decide, I would especially like to here from our older Members, such as KingKoopa, and ShadowGoomba. Peace.

Before we start jumping ship, I think we should try and E-Mail Toomai to see if he can try and promote one of you Mods.

Now, I realize that's easier said than done, but I don't think we should get rid of this place just yet. Just give it some time.

Okay, I'm with you. We should eMail him, give him 7 days to respond, and go from there... But I want to here what the others have to say first. I'm never leaving again! I mean, when I was here we would get at least 10 post on a bad day, and up to 40 on an exceptionally good one... Now we're getting, like, 10 a week! Well, I suppose I shouldn't blame myself for everything, I mean, it's not like I made ALL those post. Oh well, it feels GREAT to be home.

That might be due to the fact that people have school now that summer is over... or maybe he is playing some awesome new video game... I think you are kind of jumping the gun here considering that we haven't even e-mailed him yet. *checks above post* OH. Well I think that we should wait a little longer than 7 days before completely jumping ship and starting a new site. Once we give up, we should at least think about some important decisions that will have to be made if we move to another site.

Yes sir! I'll eMail him right away, but I still think seven days is long enough for him to respond, I mean, he's been gone for two Months! I understand people have been busy with school(like myself), as well. But, in the event that we do migrate, I would be glad to give the "Site Manager" position. Well, in the end, it is YOUR decision.

On Topic: Well now that we've emailed him... there really isn't much to be said here until that deadline is up (unless someone else wants to voice their opinion). So, I know I can't actually lock topics... but I think that this topic shouldn't be posted in again until that thar deadline is up (unless like said before, you haven't voiced your opinion yet).

I don't know, I think the site is doing quite nicely for the amount of members we have. Not to mention the fact that it was a lot worse before.

I'd say that this is more 5th gen. Around the time where we're having some kind of activity going on around here again.

We'll pull through. Though it would be better to have a "metaphorical government" for this forum, as opposed to the "tribal rule" we have now.

Mumbo wants a re-election! Tribal rule for us all. In all seriousness, we already did elections for who would be the new admins (if we got that far). So if we were to take this government thing one step further it shouldn't be too hard.
