So, by this logic, the Mushroom World should have stronger gravity than Earth since it would make the characters look more awesome...?
I'm sorry, I thought the point of this topic was to rationalize MW physics as far as possible using the rules of known physics.

You do know lifting a fortress would require strength of an insane level even with the lower gravity in Mushroom World? Sure, it'd be slightly easier, but hey, that'd still probably translate to at least the power to throw vehicles in the real world.
