From French to English [Paper Mario]

It's always interesting to see the differences between different versions of the same game. Thus I decided to translate Mario games from French to English. Note that I'll translate every line, including random NPC talking.

The French version of Paper Mario was translated from the American one.

Introduction

Narrator: Today... I am going to tell you the story of the "Star Spirits". Up there, over the sky, much higher than the clouds, it appears that there exists a haven where Stars live. In Star Haven, rests a legendary treasure named Star Rod. It has the power to fulfill every wish. With that fantastic Rod, the Star Spirits were watching over our peace and our well-being. And thus...
Kammy Koopa is on the screen
Narrator: My, what the...? Who did that?
Bowser: Ha ha ha! I did!!! Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! With that Star Rod, I can finally beat my worst enemy, Mario! Do it, Kammy Koopa!!
Kammy Koopa brings Bowser in the story, Bowser steals the Star Rod
Narrator: No, don't do that!!
Bowser: Yeah! Let's use it now!
Bowser traps the Star Spirits in cards
Narrator: No! Bowser, stop!! You're changing the story!!
Kammy Koopa: Raa ha ha ha ha... We did it!
Bowser: That was too easy!! Mwaa ha ha!
Bowser and Kammy Koopa escape
Narrator: Even if young Stars come here to bring wishes, nobody will fulfill them anymore! What can we do???

Do you think I should separate NPC talking to in-scene talking ? I mean, there's a difference between text you don't need to read (like something a random NPC has to say), and text you're obliagted to read (like the Goomba King's talking before the battle against him).

Not really the prologue, more like the opening.
Note that I didn't separate obligatory dialogues from optional ones.
Also I couldn't translate the French pun of the French names of some Toads, so I kept the English one (but took out the full stop after them, as it is not in the French version).

Interlude

Parakarry: Here's mail!
Parakarry goes away, Luigi appears, take the mail, go back home
Luigi: Hey, Mario! We received a letter from Princess Peach!
Mario comes in
Luigi: I'll read it, 'kay? So... « I'm organizing a party this afternoon! I'd be happy if Luigi and you could come. Many guests want to meet you. There'll be many good things and many kinds of entertainments! Best regards, Peach »

Mario and Luigi go through Toadville and to Mushroom Castle
Luigi: What a magnificent castle! It'll always impress me. It looks like almost all the guests are already there.
Luigi: Mario, why don't you go see princess Peach? I'll join you later, I stay to say hello to our friends.
Random red Toad: Wow! I never saw so much people coming from such different places! I think they must have many things to tell you, right?
Random pink Toadette: I thought princess Peach was searching for you, Mario. Don't make her wait! She can't wait to see you... Tee hee hee... Isn't that cute???
Random green Toadette: Oh! Hi, Mario! The last party was awesome, right? Oh! About this, the princess is searching for you everywhere.
Toad: Mario! Are you okay? Have fun!
Random red Toad guard: Welcome to Mushroom Castle!
Random green Toad: Hey...urp...Mario! I hope you're ravenous! There are so many good things!!! I think I ate too much... I'm not feeling well. Well, that's enough, I'm hungry again! Attack!!! Yaaaaaahhh!!!
Russ T: Ah! Salutations, Mario! Do you know Frost T ? He comes from Star Valley which is located far from here in the great North.
Frost T: Princess Peach is as nice and wonderful as I was told. I'm happy to have come here. Mario, give us a visit at once!
Random Penguin: Wow... This castle is incredible. Plus there's pâté! If only I could live there for ever!
Random blue Toad guard: The princess went back to her room. She must be exhausted.

Mario goes to the kitchen
Tayce T: Oh, hi, Mario! I'm Tayce T. I love cooking!♥ You may not know it, but I'm the one who prepared the whole buffet. Isn't it awesome?♥ Sadly... I used all my ingredients to do all those courses! I'll have to go to the mall!
Random red Toad: I like cooking. I hope that one day, I'll be able to cook as well as Tayce T. You can't cook, Mario? Well, you should try to! That's too fun! Plus I eat very well now!

Mario goes to the first floor
Mushroom Castle Minister: Welcome, Mario! I'm the Mushroom Castle Minister. I'm happy to see you. When you're there, nohting bad can happen to us. It's fantastic!
Random orange Toadette: Hello, Mario. I'm always very fashionable and I must say... that you have great tastes. Who's your tailor?♥
Random red Toad: Do you know Shooting Stars Hill? It's located near this castle... It's the best place for a date with a girl. Believe me. You should propose the princess, we never know...
Mayor: I represent the magnificent Shiverville, to which I'm the new mayor! My! I'm late! I have to buy souvenirs with Forst T!
Random green Koopa: I come from Koopa Village, not far from here. Ooo... I could even talk to princess Peach! She's a cute blonde!!!♥
Random blue Toad: Well... We have guests from Dry Dry Desert, from the great North and from Koopa Village. They are so many that I don't know how many they are. And you, where do you come from? Oh... You're Mario!? So... Sorry!!!
Random green Toad: I wonder if princess Peach has a boyfriend? She's so cute... Her lovely must be a really lucky guy...
Random green Nomad: I come from a camp in Dry Dry Desert. This castle is really superb! And all those textures are so beautiful! I could even talk to princess Peach. She's so pretty! I think I fell in love with her.
Random Nomadimouse: I'm a Nomadimouse from Dry Dry Desert. People are really nice around here! Plus the food is free. Incredible!
Random green Toad guard: This is the princess' room, but she's not there for now.
Again: Huh? No! Don't! You can't go in a lady's room without having been invited, Mario!
Again: When I say NO, it means NO! You can't enter there!
Again: When I say NO, it means NO! You can't enter there!
Again: You're stubborn! I don't have the choice... Hurry up there and don't touch anything!

Mario enters Peach's room
If you check the fireplace: What a beautiful fireplace! This is incredible!
If you check Peach's dresses: Her dresses are pretty but they are all the same! She doesn't have varied tastes.
If you check the drawers: Those are cosmetics. Mario is good even without those!
If you check the picture: A picture of Mario!
If you check the bed: A cosy bed. It has been conceived so that you have good dreams.
If you check the flowers: A pot with pretty flowers inside. It smells divinely good.

Mario quits Peach's room
Random green Toad guard: How was it? To tell you the truth, I never went there...
Again: I envy you, Mario.
Random red Toad guard: I... I'm new at this, sir. There are so many guests... My heart is beating at 100 mph since this morning... Du-dum du-dum du-dum du-dum...

Mario goes to the next room
Random red Toad: It's rather quiet around here... Ahh... That's good.
Random red Toad guard: The princess went to rest.

Mario goes to the third floor
Peach: Oh, Mario! You came to see me! You're so cute! Many thanks!♥
Peach: I was just resting a bit. It's tiring to take care of all those guests! Nobody will disturb us here. What about we discuss?
Mario nods his head to say « yes »
Peach: The weather was beautiful today. What about spending time on the balcony? What do you think, Mario?
There is an earthquake, Bowser's Castle brings Mushroom Castle to the stratosphere
Peach: Are you okay, Mario? What happened?
Peach: Oh no! Look, Mario! We're at daytime... … And I can see stars!
Bowser crashes in
Bowser: Mwaa ha ha ha ha ha! It makes a while since we didn't see each other, princess Peach!
Peach: … Bowser! Impossible! It's you who shaked the ground, right? What did you do?
Bowser: Mwa ha ha ha! Yeah! That was me! I launched your castle which is now on mine! You weren't waiting for this, huh? Ha! I take over this castle, baby! And you'll OBEY ME!!!
Mario stops Bowser
Bowser: Huh!? What? Mario!! What a surprise! Ha! Not that much actually! I was waiting for you!!! Still as annoying as ever, I see. But this time, you won't be able to do anything against me!!!
Peach: Did you still not understand, Bowser? You'll never beat Mario! Why don't you give up?
Bowser: I admit I had some problems in the past... But it's different, this time! I'll win!!! Alright, guy! I'm waiting for you!
Battle starts
Peach: Mario, I believe in you!
The battle continues
Bowser: That good old Mario... You're a real thorn in my side! But today your pitful attacks will be useful for nothing! Look at that! I took it at Star Haven! It's the Star Rod! It has the power to fulfill any wish in the whole world! And when I use it to power myself up, even you, Mario, can't beat me anymore!
Bowser becomes invincible
Bowser: Mwa ha ha ha ha ha! Do you like it, Mario?!
The battle continues
Bowser: Mwa ha ha ha ha ha! Is that all you've got? You're pitful, I didn't feel anything at all!
The battle continues
Bowser: I suspected it, Mario. You are nothing next to me! I can't even have fun with you anymore, Mario. Let's finish this! Here we go! Farewell, Mario!
Bowser beats Mario, the battle ends
Peach: Oh no! Mario!!
Bowser: Yeah! I did it!!! I finally beat him!!! Yahahahaahahaha!
Kammy Koopa: Congratulations! What a nice victory, your Greatness! You really are the best!
Bowser: While I'll still have the Star Rod, all my wishes will be fulfilled. I'm invincible! Well, well, well... Let's get rid of Mario. He's now useless, anyways.
Bowser uses a thunder strike to throw Mario by the window
Peach: Oh, no! Mario!!!
Kammy Koopa asks to some Koopatrols to take Peach away, while Mario is still falling and the game's title appears: Paper Mario

Really, I'm interested. Escpecially the differences in translation, like "Toadville" and "Shooting Stars Hill".
