I can't have it. No Wi-Fi with consoles means no WiiWare. I looked at a Youtube video.

and I updated the map of Mario's planet (based on Super Mario Galaxy 2). You know this got me thinkin' Nearly everything in the newer Mario games is is colored with textures. Which means that's somewhere in that games data is the texture used to cover the mushroom world, which would basically be a map. i can't think of an exact instance in SMG2 where this would have been used, but I can think of a few in the first Galaxy. (e.x: when Peach's castle is being pulled into space and the "welcome new galaxy" scene)

It's extremely hard to hack this kind of textures though. Mainly because it's moving. Nobody could extract the "planet" background of Good Egg Galaxy in SMG, either.

Hey guys, the other dayI was wondering, "What will happen to the Video Game Industry, when big names like Hideo Kojima, Jeremiah Slazcka(He's big to me:P), and yes, Shigeru Miyamoto retire/die? Thoughts?

We will carry on.
Creators can die, but if a video game series is loved enough, it will live on.
Mario will live on. End of story.

I know that, I just hope that by Mario's 50th Anniversary that his games will still be loved as much as they are now, and that he doesn't end up like a certain blue hedgehog...

There are too many people working on Mario games to let the series just "die" because one person is gone. Mario games will be around as long as Nintendo is (possibly longer than that) Though I have to admit, once Miyamoto is gone the game will undoubtedly lose that special something that they have.

Fortunately Mario games are the only ones that Miyamoto puts that much effort into, so games like Legend of Zelda likely won't be changed that much

Miyamoto gave Aonuma the reigns of the Zelda series, but he has yet to pass on the Mario series, which is, in my mind, his greatest gaming accomplishment.! I'm not sure what designer could live up to Miyamoto, arguably the patriarch of Modern Gaming! I'm sure he will find a proper successor...

IF he can find a proper successor who can successfully make Mario games as well as Miyamoto can, then Microsoft can go ahead and kill themselves now.

Hey, you know what I always wondered, what do Miyamoto's wife and children look like? And I wonder what it would be like to call THE Shigeru Miyamoto "Dad"... Luck kids.

They probably get Mario games before they are even released to the public. And by public I mean Japanese public so that means that they get it WAY before US does

That was epic.
Why didn't I ever think of doing that? Of course, it was probably taken down immediately.
