To each their own I guess.
Still, I wish they would have just made MariovsDK a port of DK'94. It's just a better game

I'd like to see a graphically enhanced version of DK'94 for 3DSWare(see my Mario Bros. remake idea).

Much as I hate that they slapped Arcade!DK's personality onto Rare!DK in the MvDK series, they're still canon.
My explanation is that TV causes DK to go through violent mood swings. *shrug*

Is there REALLY any REAL evidence that DK Arcade is Cranky? I mean, I think he IS, but Idk.

Cranky said he was. If you believe that Big Ape City was the location of the original Donkey Kong, then you also accept that Cranky is the old Donkey Kong, since that's where he said he fought Mario.

It was said multiple times by Rare that Cranky was the arcade DK. There's been a confusion about if nowadays' DK is Cranky's son or Cranky's grandson, but the most recent source (after SSBB) states that he's his son (which makes sense, or else Mario would be much older). So DK Jr. is today's DK, and arcade DK is today's Cranky Kong. And Mario and DK are about the same age (see: Yoshi's Island DS) so Mario may've been still an adolescent in DK '94 (which also makes sense, considering his "weak" abilities compared to now).

Mario has a mustache in DK '94, he can't be that young.
Cranky was probably always older than him. DK II could theoretically also be younger than Mario due to having been born during Yoshi's Island DS, which took place after both Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story.

I have a moustache and a beard, and I'm barely 14. Mario could very well have a moustache at 15 or 16. And, Yoshi's Island DS doesn't take place after Yoshi's Story. Actually, it's the prequel of it. You see Yoshi's birth at the end of Yoshi's Island DS AND at the start of Yoshi's Story.

Do you have an actual MANLY mustache, or a wispy one like all teenagers do? If you have a manly one, do you look like this?

.........This is quite possibly the most utterly ridiculous thing I've heard on this entire forum.

.........This is quite possibly the most utterly ridiculous thing I've heard on this entire forum. Thaaaaanks. It makes me feel happy and confident that everyone thinks that what I say is ridiculous. And, I'd have a big moustache if I somehow cared about it and shaved it. Considering it's the case for my beard (I have to shave it, like, every two days), it should have probably been the case for mah moustache too.

Hm, it does make sense... if I only considered Yoshi's Island DS canon, I'd actually agree! I mean, Baby Bowser seems to be the same age, and some new Yoshis being born does bring those games in close proximity.

If the Yoshi born at the end of YIDS is the same one from YS, then that would mean he was born twice, which makes no sense.
My method dictates that all the games happen in the order of release with exception of the obvious ones (YI, YS, YIDS) and even then, those happen in that exact.

Yoshi's birth being shown in both the ending of Yoshi's Island DS and the introduction of Yoshi's Story mean Yoshi's Story is (chronogically) the sequel to Yoshi's Island DS. That's one of the "obvious" cases. I also use that method: everything happens in their release order, except if stated or at least hinted otherwise.

That's all nice and dandy, but wouldn't that mean the green Yoshi from Yoshi's Story is more special than the others? He isn't special at all apart from having watermelon as his favourite fruit, but the yellow one also has his own favourite fruit. One more point why "Star Babies" is baloney.

He was only a newborn. It's obvious he wouldn't be really different from the others, considering he's newly hatched. Baby Mario couldn't do anything but sit on Yoshi's back, either (although he could get a power-up).

See? Power-ups are really his strength, as I've claimed numerous times. But also, if we take Star Children as not being baloney, keep in mind Mario makes Yoshi see invisible blocks AND run faster. Those are his superpowers (in that awful game anyway), so you'd think any of those babies should have special powers.

Yoshis are quite special already, so it's not easy to spot a Star Child Yoshi from a normal Yoshi. I mean, Yoshis are already pretty strong to start with.

You're trying to defend a point that's not defensible. Fact: the green Yoshi was never special. In all games where other Yoshis appear alongside the green one, they either all have the same abilities (YI, YIDS), or there are some with better abilities (YS) or he is the one with the WORST abilities (SMW).
