Okay... I've had this idea in my head for a while now, (i.e., 2 hours), and I think I should implement it before I forget again, (I have the memory of an elephant. A dead elephant, to be exact.) Just like the title says, just introduce yourself! Tell the nice people who you are, what you like to talk about, why you joined, etc. Literally, anything you wanna say, you can say here. And so, as custom dictates, I shall kick us off with my own mini-bio. *ahem*
Howdy. I'm Mike. You may know me as MarioBro364. I'm from the good ol' U.S. of A., and I looooooooooves me a good RPG. I own/have owned every single Mario RPG in it's original or Virtual Console form, (my copy of M&L: Pit was stolen with my original silver-colored DS Phat ), and my one desire is to become a world-famous cartoonist. Well... Maybe that... Aaaaaaand learning to ride the Unicycle. I don't have any art under the Fanart Thread, I know. But, that may change soon, after I learn to not be a lazy sack-o-potatoes and actually start using my drawing tablet my aunt got me. Did I mention that I like to use emoticons a lot?

Well hello there!
I'm Artemendo, and I'm a Mario writer. You might know my blog, Waluigious, at waluigious.com. I'm just your stereotypical nerd, but with the twist that I spent half of my life in an extremely poor country and have thus learned to appreciate how amazing Western civilization is. I mean, water from the tap! Mindblowing!
Right now, I'm in university getting a degree in linguistics. Maybe some day, I will be able to combine Mario AND linguistics! I also draw, but it's mostly my own Mario "original characters", which I'm sure no one here wants to see.
I love portmanteaus. I love a cappella. I love using repetition as a stylistic device.

Well, I'm Toomai. I registered here back in 2005 and became an admin a few years later, since Kamikaze Koopa vanished and Claws faded away. I'm one of SmashWiki's top contributors, analyzing characters' movesets hitbox by hitbox and generating complex table systems. I'm generally a science guy - even though I avoid using magic to explain things, I can explain magic itself. I'm also big in the creativity department - you've probably heard of my unfortunately-steamless Journey of Ten, while A Smashing Saga is the current work. In terms of career I'm taking a course on computer game development.
Back in the old days of this forum, I was the guy that implemeneted the default blue/green colour scheme, replacing the then-default black/orange. I used Mario Kart DS to replicate the pixel version of the Mario font you see on the images.
I was called back to this forum after a year's absence to give some of the new leaders adminship. I decided to improve the images, now that I have use of better imaging programs, as well as add some more colour options. The process is going pretty slow because of the way things are set up. As for having discussions on this forum again, I would call it possible but unlikely - in general, my time is better spent elsewhere in the forseeable future (documenting Brawl movesets is more important to a bigger community than discussing the physics of the Mario universe, for example). That said, I intend to check in at times to make sure things are going okay.

Ooh this seems fun! Hi everyone! My name is PDoogan (aka. pandacommando). I've been a huge Mario fan since the age of 9 and love pondering about the more obscure points of the series. I came in sort of late into the Mario series, with my first gaming system being an GBA, but I've use the resources I have *coughemulatorscough* to catch up on the classics. My true passion though, is drawing. My deviantart page is proof with more than 400 Mario-related pictures including a graphic-novel version of Super Mario Bros. 3 (I'm up to 100 pages ) I'm currently on my way to earning a BA in graphic design. Hopefully what I learn will only improve my artwork even more! Oh, and I'm the only girl on this forum that I know of.

Yo guys, I'm SMBmaster. I try (and fail) to be funny, and I'm usually pretty friendly. My favorite series are Mario, DKC, and Zelda. Of course, only Mario (and somewhat DKC) apply here. I'm also the real-life equivelant of Francis from SPM.
And in my infinite weirdness, I like to think of this forum as a family. PDoogan is like the older sister, Toomai and Yoshi Mastar are the old folks, EpicGyllyn and Koopalmier the talkative ones, Artemendo and Cheat-master30 as the writers, and Mariobo364 as the fun one.
Kingkoopa, Meta Black Yoshi, and I are the second cousins.
I have waaaaaay too much free time, huh.

Oh, I. I'm Anonymous and I hate you all. Except if you have money for me. I'm French and fail so much at video games that I still can't get past World 8-3 in Super Mario Bros. (NES) using Warp Zones, and World 1-2 in Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels. It also took me 6 tries to do The Perfect Run in SMG2. And Super Paper Mario is my favorite game. The official I.Q. test I did told me I had a I.Q. of 130 but I don't believe it because I still can't understand what is a noun, and I take "Mario"logy seriously. For some reasons 100°F is a perfectly normal climate for me and my view is messed up, so yeah, I'm bizarre. Oh, and I'm racist against Japan (seriously).
I think I summed it up well. Wait, did I mention I illegaly play free-roaming ROMs on emulator, and that POKéMON (as a whole) is the worst game I ever played ?

Come on, how can POKéMON be a good series ?! It's ridiculously slow and boring.

It's no more slow than any other RPG except perhaps the Mario ones and Chrono Triggerr.

Pokémon is nice to play, but every time I've finished one of those games, I felt like I wasted my time because I have absolutely no chance at ever really "beating" it. How many people worldwide have got all 9001 Pokémon? Less that a thousand? Especially with those "event-exclusive" monsters. I prefer games I can 100% alone, without buying something or going to events. Or trading. It's really hard to trade if you have no friends, like me!

There's only like 493, but I agree. 151 was about right and 251 was pushing it. I personally would've been fine if the series ended after second gen.

It's no more slow than any other RPG except perhaps the Mario ones and Chrono Triggerr. I like Mario RPGs because they are fast-paced. The MOTHER series, starting with MOTHER 2, is not too slow either (but there's less action, however there's more humor). It happens the only RPGs I like are Mario RPGs and MOTHER RPGs... But how are other RPGs fun ? I don't mean that in an aggresive way, I simply want to know. On-topic (somewhat): I don't see you people as a family, or as friends, or whatever.

On-topic (somewhat): I don't see you people as a family, or as friends, or whatever. And that's why you'll die alone! Meticulous and strategic planning is cool, but only if the game forgives you for being unexperienced. That's why I dislike Fire Emblem. Without a guide, it'll take you 20 playthroughs to get all characters and not make anyone die. And death is permanent! Whyyy?

I like Fire Emblem okay, but for the most part I'm not into Turn-Based RPG's. As for Pokemon, I'm glad the Series continued, and am looking forward to Black and White Version... But I'd have to say Crystal is still the best! Although I am sad that when I was in the 3rd Grade my GBASP and Pokemon Crystal where stolen along with my Precious, Precious Level 100 Feraligator... Waaaaahhhhh... Also, is it wierd that I treat my Feraligator in SoulSilver as though it was a Reincarnation of my Original...
*Everyone stares at Gyllynn, throws up, and then Leaves*

Fire Emblem should be played with a guide, really. It's impossible to tell where a lot of the stuff is otherwise.

On-topic (somewhat): I don't see you people as a family, or as friends, or whatever. And that's why you'll die alone! If I die alone, nobody will be sad. And thus everyone's happy ! Did anyone notice that whenever I post in a topic, it goes off-topic ?

And that's why you'll die alone! If I die alone, nobody will be sad. And thus everyone's happy ! Wow! You just gave that old insult a new spin! Bravo! I'll steal that from you and use it myself in the future. Off-topicness is not necessarily bad. It's randomness and "lol" comments and giant pictures in every post that's bad.

So, Koopalmier not my Third Cousin... I kid, but I do think of this Forum as a Family, or at least a Community, and no matter how many new people Join, the people who gave me the Idea to contact YoshiMaster, and eventually Toomai in order to save the Site will always be Special!

Awww... I'm not special, then... ah well. I plan on hanging around here until I've got all mushrooms available! And beyond!

Well, you ARE the Writer for Waluigious, so I guess you are Special too... And you made quite an Impressive Banner for the Forum, though I think a name Change would be appropiate.
