I watched a video "pre-reveiew" and it commented about the game not being a true platformer and that throughout the whole of one of the trailers there was only a single jump.

I'll probably never get it just because its on the X-Box 360. But Idk if the X-Box 360 ever gets really cheap I might get one but probably more for Halo 3 than Banjo 3  |

Dude, it's been years. You need to let that go, because the only way you will get more old Rare+Nintendo is if you either play their DS games, or get a 360. Microsoft may be crazy, but Rare sure isn't. And Meta, watch some more of the videos, there's more platforming than you would think.

Microsoft may be crazy, but Rare sure isn't. And Meta, watch some more of the videos, there's more platforming than you would think. It's only been 5 years. I hate Microsoft because the only reason they got involved in the gaming industry is because it was the hot thing to do. They would just as soon burn every 360 out there and replace them with cheeseburgers if that was the hot thing. They buy out everything of value and squeeze out every last drop of blood from something and then ditch it. I hate them. I have nothing against Windows, but that's their trade. They should focus on that rather than destroy everything else like the big, corporate jerks they are. Nintendo, Sega, Hudson, Atari, etc. care about video games because that's their trade. Microsoft only cares about one thing: $. For this, I am not quite so angry at Rare so much as I feel sorry for them. However, the two guys selling them out was incredibly greedy and selfish. |

And Shadow, you're right. None of there games appeal to me, but I hate hearing people say M$ messed up Banjo cuz the game is made by Rare.
It could be worse, Rare could be owned by Sony. -shudders-

What if Rare had their own console? M$ should drop the whole gaming thing anyway, and Sony should stick with whatever they do. And the boss of the new Banjo Kazooie game is Grunty.

While I hate the X360 as much as the next guy (and the guy after that), I will definately at least rent one for BKNB. I loathed video games until a I saw a demo kiosk in 1998 with BK in it, since I had no idea that games could be about something other than human-ish superheroes pummeling random monsters. (Although I had played SMK a few years earlier at a cousin's house, but said cousin only chose courses in the Special Cup.)
