On the 'Touch Fizzy Get Dizzy' level of Yoshi's Island, how does the drug tip/dizzy thing work? And if anything it touched got dizzy, then why isn't it the dominant species on the Mario Earth?
I couldn't find a topic like this, so if it's a double topic, sorry.

It could work like an inhalant. Yoshi runs into one and the gases released make him hallucinate. They aren't dominant because they pop extremely easily and are only found in 2 or 3 levels.

I don't remember them ever popping... but okay.
Are they just there, or did Baby Bowser use them?

There just there, floating along. Kamek may have made the path Yoshi took go through a Fuzzy nest, but I don't think he trained them.
PS Yeah, they pop like crazy.

I always thought the we just very fragile. So when you tough them, the desintegrate and the dust you inhale is what makes you dizzy.
Also they only seem to be located in Yoshi's Island.

But why have we only seen them in Yoshi's Island? It's not the only tropical climate in the ME.

It's probably were that particular strand originated and it hasn't spread out from there. Why did you think they should be the dominant species?

Corrent me if I'm wrong, but are there any Floaty Fuzzies in YIDS? Or were they all wiped out by then? 'Cause I don't remember any right now.

I wouldn't know, because I haven't played it, but I haven't seen one TFGD sprite from YIDS.
