Bogmire

Well, most of us know who he is. However, he has a flaw in his description. in the menu accessed by pressing z, it states he is a product created by the mansion's fear and despair. However, E.Gadd had captured him before the mansion existed. Now, we need a solution to this. Perhaps he's just a manifestation of fear and despair, not just the mansion. What do you think?

When did he say he had already captured him? He might just have been referring to the portrait ghosts.

It's possible that he manifests the area around and including the mansion, not just the mansion itself.

Bogmire is a portrait ghost. But it's probably possible that E.Gadd hadn't cought him or other ghost before the mansion apered. So he had gotten some extras from the mansion. But I guess he probably did have all of those ghost sinse it looked like he had a spot for all of them in the gallery. Maby the mansion had once existed at one time and was somehow transported or replicated by the boos.

King boo was definetly not appart of his collection. It was probably coincidace.

Maby he had just prepared that fancy portrait spot so that he'd have it whenever king boo was caught.

I think gadd maybe did reasearch on the inhibitants of the house, was it mentioned how long the mansion was there

He said it only apered a few days ago. But I beleive that it existed once before in another location....Or perhaps the same location. :/

most likely, I think that bogmire may be the result of haunted mansions in general, but Gadd having around 20 years of ghost expirence may have not known this and thought bogmire was just a result of the house Luigi explores

I see what your saying. I just realized that even if the mansion did exist somewhere before, E. Gadd couldn't have known about it or else he probably would have mentioned something about it being there before. It could have still existed though, before he moved in, or in another location. And bogmire might have haunted the old house until something must have happened to it....

I think gadd might have caught some of the portrait ghost sometime after the original mansion was destroyed. I think the original mansions location was somewhere in boo woods maby the same spot. Gadd might have been trying to catch the king boo but it was proving to be such a difficult task using the polterguiest, that gadd instead laid a trap for king boo and his followers and then sealed them away underground. A few boos could have escaped the trap and somehow they managed to replicate the old mansion and lure Mario into it. Once Mario was out of the way, turned ito a painting, they then tricked luigi into the mansion, hoping he would break the seal and free the remaining boos. So the created a fake mansion over where king boo was sealed so they could get someone to come in and free king boo. Thy probably tried to get mario to open it but he must have found out their plan and when he did they turned him into a painting.

Here is the story of luigi mansion, E. gadd had finnaly managed to cappture boolossus and trap him in a painting. So king boo organized a rescue attempt and manegged to free boolossus and all of the other ghosts E. gadd had manegged to capture over the years. Then king boo created the mantion out of thin air and began plotting revenge on mario and luigi.

I like the fist part of the theory, but it dosn't explain how the boos got traped underground.

Maybe they were just hideing there.

They "went there for a little rest" or something like that. Also, he had to have been already caught, as he's number 20, Boolossus is number 22, and Boolossus is the reason King Boo freed all the portrait ghost.


Hang on... It just said, "The Mansion". It never said what mansion. It could have been a different Mansion...

Hmm, that's a possibillity. But it seemed like it was that mansion. Well maybe king boo just telleported an abandoned mansion to that spot instead of creating it out of nothing. Bogmire could have come from that mansion and E. gadd had alrready captured him there. So when he excaped, bogmire went back to his roots.
