Waluigi is a extremely undeveloped character, and as such Nintendo seems to be giving him a connection to wrecking crew.
Foreman spike was the main antagonist of the game wrecking crew and the predecessor of wario, but no motive was given for his attacks on Mario and Luigi.
Foreman spike later appeared in the japan only game wrecking crew 98' as one of bowser's minions.
From the scarce info found in games it appears that waluigi has been antagonizing the Mario bros long before his debut in Mario tennis.
waluigi and Foreman spike both have similar noses and the same laugh.
In Mario Superstar Baseball, Waluigi's Liar Ball move revolved around his favorite food, the eggplant. In, Wrecking Crew, Eggplant Men were enemies
Waluigi's song in Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix was a remix of the bonus game music for Wrecking Crew.
In Mario kart DS one of waluigis karts was a construction crane.

So, what do you think? Is all this a coincidence, or are waluigi and foreman spike the same person?

It's very possible that they are the same person. Yet for some reason, anyone who likes daisy wants to disregaurd this info.

Why? Because it makes daisy the most underdeveloped character?

Somewhat, the daisy fans on Nsider think that because Dasiy was in one game, she has a chance in getting her own game. Whenever anyone brings the points up, they attempt to shoot them down because they want dasiy to have her own game before (or not at all) waluigi. They think like those fanboys -_-

No way. They don't look alike at all. But there's probably a connection between the two... maybe we'll see it in some third Wrecking Crew?

There will be no third wrecking crew so I think Foreman Spike was Waluigi's nickname just like Jumpman was Mario's

I seriously doubt it. Waluigi was nothing more than an attempt to give Luigi an equivalent to Wario.

Yea but him and Forman Spike seem very similar

But now that I think about it , Foreman Spike and Waluigi look almost exactly alike minus the heights of the two.... I think.

Not really.

If they don't look like each other they sort of act like each other

...vaguely. I think Waluigi has become a spiritual successor to him, but he is most definitely not him.

You also wouldn't think that these 2 were the same either would you

That's irrelevant. That's due to advances in technology and different choices in art style, nothing more. Besides, unlike Waluigi and Foreman Spike, they have been proven to be the same character.

I know why you don't get it. That's the original art style. When the Japan-only game Wrecking Crew '98 was released on the SNES, the redid his character into a much more Waluigi-looking guy.

He was extremely muscular and tough looking. Still not Waluigi. And my pic is from Mobile Golf, his latest appearance.

He was extremely muscular and tough looking. That's true; however he has a similar nose, mustache, and cap. Definately not the same character, but a high likelyhood of there being a design insperation.

Or Waluigi stopped working out and had an artificial growth spurt

But, as Rex originally said, there have been many hints by Nintendo that they are the same character or at least related

I'm with Toomai here. Waluigi was inspired by him, but they aren't the same.
