I've wanted this ever since SSBM first came out. How awesome would it be to assemble a party of different Nintendo characters and take them through the different worlds of the games?
Mario, Link, and Samus make their way through the underground labyrinth of Tourian, fighting past countless Metroids until a final encounter with Mother Brain!
or
DK, Pikachu, and Yoshi fight their way through Hyrule, with air support from the Starfox Team. ^_^

That would be really interesting. But what would they port from games? Badges? What items? Action commands, maybe?

I'm thinking it would be like Kingdom Hearts, only with Nintendo characters. You start off with Mario as the lead character and have to travel around to the different universes in order to stop Master Hand and Crazy Hand from doing...something. I'm not too sure what it would be yet. ^_^

strange game im sure as an rpg gamer id research it then id rent it i dont really buy nintendo games unless theyre sequiles like SSBM or i liked the rental it all depends but seeing as its an SSBM game id probably buy it i give it my trademark saying though strange yet satisfying

Sounds a whole lot like the Justice Leugue unlimited series. I love JLU. It's practically my favorite show on TV right now. So something that resembles JLU with Nintendo characters is awesome. Great idea, Kamikaze. |

JLU only comes on one day of the week. If it were up to me, I'd place it at the 4:30 p.m. slot every weekday.

and take it off of saturday and put more anime in its place id put it on at 4:30 every week day

Meh, it's kinda unrealistic in the physics area. Besides the flying I mean.
Yeah this idea also kinda sounds like the new game Mortal Kombat Shouilon ( can't spell ) Monks. You can walk around in the worlds instead of on a limited plane.

This really seems improbable, but when you think about how impossible a game like SSB seemed a few years ago, this idea's not that farfetched.

yeah i guess your write claws but when you think about it super smash bros an rpg doesnt sound rite i mean they could upgrade super smash bros make it more like soul caliber you know with a whole map and the character leveling concept but instead of choosing exactly where to go you have to walk there or ride there or teleport there so theyre but the JLU games havent been all that good any way so yeah

I think the best option for them would to be like the Phantasy Star system (also used in Tales of Symphonia).
