Having actual sprites makes the site look more official. Here's some I thought could make good buttons. Especially the ones from Paper Mario 1 and 2.  The colors kinda don't look good too. |

You mean the blue and green? I tried to make it look like a Mario landscape, with the sky and the domes.
And anyway, using custom sprites frees us from having to use the preset sizes of official sprites.

Some are too big yes but the small ones can be enlarged.

Smashing job, Toomai! Very well done. I'm actually partial to your custom sprites, but if you'd like to use the official ones, that's your choice. Either way, this place looks a lot better.

the sprites used in this site could be better... heres an advice.. dont use black lines.. use the same colour that you filled in.. but darker. or no lines at all. just use it around the hole sprite.

I think the sprites in place are very unique. But if everyone likes the ones YM posted better, we can change them.

The site would look better with a paint job but it is not like it will get any more popularity
