I suppose he did speak in MvsDK, didn't he? And I seem to remember being pleased with his dialogue and voice acting. I dunno, perhaps if they stuck with the traditional voice actor (I forget his name) for all the characters, then I suppose it could be pulled off. But it seems to me like Mario has a very good bit of personality; despite his lack of dialogue, his mannerisms and reactions say quite a lot about him.

Look at the cartoon series. Mario talked in that, and it didn't bother anyone. That's because his voice was good. Charles Martinet should keep the voices to only yahoo's but much more deeper. He was good in Melee. |

You are right, Kamikaze. His silent mannerisms and reactions do tell a lot about him. I guess it's just that you have to look a little harder to see a personality through those kinds of things than when a character talks.

Another thing I'd like to see in the next major Mario game is cars. You could just hop into a Mario Kart-style kart and drive around the town and countryside. Every kart from every Mario Kart game would be available.

I dunno, I think giving Mario a vehicle might have some potential. Or at least having a vehicle level of some sort. I'm still in love with the whole idea of a Skypop level ^_^ (They did it in Super Mario Land!)
