It doesn't work out with the maps. Most of Dinosaur Land is north of Yoshi's Island. Most of where SMRPG took place is north of Yo'ster Isle.

Yos'ter Isle could easily be east, or west, of Yoshi's Island.

But that would mean it would also have to be east or west of the SMRPG landmass, which Dinosaur Land doesn't appear to be near. Also, it couldn't be west of Yo'ster Isle because Chocolate Island is in the way.

yoshi doesn't live on dinosaur land much any more as the island has appeared once where as yoshi has appeared in many games, whats to say he can't simply go throught the pipe vault

The two entrances to the Pipe Vault are on Yo'ster Isle and nearby Moleville Mountains. There isn't any other way in. And just because Dinosaur Land hasn't reappeared doesn't mean Yoshi doesn't still live there.

L.D. thinks the yoshi's island in SMW and YI aren't the same.

Doesn't matter. Because one of the quotes from the game he used frequently in that topic was "he fell towards the open sea." Yo'ster Isle can't be near Yoshi's Island anyway if this is true, either way you look at it.

They may not be next to eachother, but that dousn't mean he can't go to yo'sters isle for vacation. I go to places that are far away all the time for vacation.

But why would you vacation on a tropical island if you live on one? And like I said earlier, how could Yoshi learn their language if no translators are available?

The same way any of us learn any language.

Most of the sounds the Yo'ster Isle Yoshis make sound extremely similar to one another. If you have lived with that language all your life, it's understandable, but not if you just happen to be passing by.

The yoshis from yo'sters isle could have been origanaly from yoshi's island. And the very fact that yoshi is there mean there is communication between thr islands.

Why would they go? Besides, Yo'ster Isle is very small and insignifigant with no ports on it. You can't just dock a ship there.

Hot air balloon?

It's probably too far, but I know what you're getting at. Dinosaur Land must be very close to the Mushroom Kingdom because a hot air baloon was used, but that's not to say the same could happen for Yo'ster Isle. I imagine it as this: Dinosaur Land is east of the Mushroom Kingdom, because that way Mario, Luigi, and Peach wouldn't have to fly over Chocolate Island. All of the areas in SMRPG (which I call the Stardust Kingdom, don't ask me why) are west or south-west of the Mushroom Kingdom, as shown on the SMRPG map. Thus, Yo'ster Isle is west of the Mushroom Kingdom, whereas Yoshi's Island is east, making a signifigant distance between the two islands.

(which I call the Stardust Kingdom, don't ask me why) Why? =P I always thought that the SMRPG places were in the Mushroom Kingdom...

They can't be, as an area in SMRPG is called the Mushroom Kingdom. And I geuss I call it that because of Star Hill and such.

Most of us call it an island ring south of the mushroom kingdom

I think it's part of the same landmass as the mushroom kingdom, the "mushroom kingdom" city is probobly just toad town.
