I guess so, but why would they be omnivores if they have infinate fruit?

They are still technically dinosaurs, they were probably descended from meat eating dinosaurs and evolved into herbivores. But some of there heritage remains making them omnivores.

They make him too formidable. If such a thing had so many abilities, such high intelligence, decent strength, opposable thumbs, a constant need of food, AND so few weaknesses, Yoshis would eat up all of the resources and they would become extinct. Plus, it doesn't help the matter that they are so numerous. You have to remember that in the Marioverse (and indeed any video game 'verse), most expendable resources regrow extremely quickly. And don't forget that most Yoshis aren't naturally agressive.

Yeah, right, not naturally agressive...eating every enemy in sight, sometimes waiting for their prey to jump out, they laying eggs packed with explosives to destroy helpless creatures, pounding their skulls into the ground and sniffing for more prey...they don't seem that deadly to humans, but from a Shy Guy's point of view, you might think differently.

Yoshi eggs don't expload, they shatter. But I get your point.

Some times they explode.

In Yoshi's Story and SSB they explode. Also if DK is riding his back in YIDS.

The SMW graphics weren't very good... At first, I saw the sprite, and didn't know it was a yoshi...
Also, only some Yoshis have required to be constantly fed...

Nintendo probably could have squeezed a red bump on there. They got the white spot on Mario's hat, after all. Besides, we can't just dismiss things because of graphics.

In the offishial artwork the baby yoshis had no shells. But sometimes we can disregard things because of graphics "coughsupermariobroscough".

Most of the graphics issues of that game were fixed in the All-Stars remake.

I guess so, but why would they be omnivores if they have infinate fruit? Try eating only fruit for the rest of your life.

Vegetarians essentially do that; Yoshis would just drop the vegetables because they need more energy. Besides, Yoshis REALLY like fruit.

Vegetarians, due to not eating meat, WHICH IS WHAT MADE US AS SMART AS WE ARE, will need to eat supplementaries for the vitamins obtained... it's easier to also eat meat.

Yoshis aren't humans; they might need different kinds of nutrients.

Look....the point is, there is pleanty of food for the Yoshis to eat and it's not likely that they will use up all the resources and become exstinct any time soon.

Okay, sure. But can you explain how Yo'ster Isle Yoshis survive without food sources? And where do all the cookies come from?

Sorry to hear that. I think SMRPG's one of Mario's best games ever and arguably his best RPG. Can anyone else answer my question?

The Yoshi's could have easily made the cookies. You don't even need opposable thumbs to bake cookies...
