Toad Towns right there.

Right where?
Something I just realized: nearly all of the geography changes after Mario & Luigi:Partners in Time. That's going to be a difficult task.

Peach's castle is right in front of Toad Town.
If the sport things where behind the castle it could work.

Isn't it all broken up into islands? Also, Yoshi's Island is near the castle, etc. What could've done this, I don't know. Perhaps a massive earthquake?
Peach's Castle has been redesigned to look like it did when Peach was a baby. Why they changed the design to the SM64 layout is a mystery. The PiT version is much larger and is almost like a city within a castle (which is how a lot of Earth castles were).
(This is all assuming that the PiT area is the same as the PM area. I assume it is because of the locations of Peach's Castle and Toad Town.)

I've pretty much given up trying to figure out what the castle is supposed to look like. These days, I just assume the Paper Mario model is the official one (it seems the like the one people could accually live in and not just a bunch of empty rooms full of paintings.) as for the continent, as strange as it may sound, the PiT map accually looks more accurate revrsed (I.e the forests match up with the PM1 map, Kastle Koopa is in the direction Darkland would be in SMB3) I know it's highly unlikely but it really seems like the PiT map is just...backwards.

Wait why is Yoshi's Island near the castle?
And could you show a pic of the Pit map it seems intresting.

Well, we'd have to have a legitimate reason for saying that the PiT map is backwards. Actually, though, the Gritzy Desert sort of corresponds to the Dry Dry Desert area on the PM map. And, if we were to say that Lavalava Island and the PiT Yoshi's Island were the same island, there would be another similarity. And the Hollijolli Village area could correspond to the Shiver City area. For comparison:

Yeah that's where I got the idea from. It looks like it would work fairly well, besides a few minor changes.

Wait if they're called differnt names than the areas in PM then they're differnt places.

Or they could just be specific places in the same general area. Which is what I meant.

Yes. I think I got that from IGN or Gamehicker. Something like that. But I know it's real.

I've seen refrencess that suggest glitzville is an amusment park.
YM> the forest is toadwood forest, the hole in the ground is thwomp volcano, the desert is the gritzy desert, the castles are obvious, the star behind peaches castle is star hill, the place in the center is toadtown, and the island is yoshi island

Yeah, I guess Glitzville could be classinfed as an amusment park. There's no houses and it only seems to have enough room for one large building.

Of course, there could have been buildings we didn't see on the other side of the city that were taken out so that we could see Mario.

Good point. But when you first arrive on the cheep-cheep blimp, you can clearly see the Gltz Pit, there aren't any building in front of it (a big waste of space if you ask me)

I guess either way there wouldn't be room enough for any sizable population. Maybe it is just an amusement park.
